I've been in such a season 3 mode since it came out, but I'm loving reliving the seasons 1 and 2 journey through you - it's truly such a big warm hug of a show, and I love getting to see other people experience it for the first time 🤗And your reactions are hilarious and always on point 😂 As much as I love season 2, I can't lie, with Nick's beautiful coming out journey I can never help but get a little sad remembering that it was only like a few months before they started filming that Kit was essentially harassed into coming out publicly when he'd been very clear that he was not at a point of wanting to disclose his sexuality publicly 😔Like, the story had already emphasized the importance of everyone having the right to come out in their own time, but they definitely added in even more of an emphasis on that point in season 2, very pointedly speaking to that subset of "fans" who clearly didn't understand the spirit of the story at all. But yeah, as wonderful as Nick's journey is, it's just so upsetting knowing that Kit, the actual real life *18-year-old* at the time, was forced into making a statement to literally millions of people before he was ready to just because certain people online felt entitled to that information about him. I hope getting to film season 2 was at least a bit cathartic for him 🧡

the funny (not so funny) thing about the biphobia for men/women thing is that w guys, theyre just gay and indecisive, but with women theyre just straight n wanting attention.. assuming both groups actually just like men. very strange
I know a lot of people were mad at his parents reaction to them dating and the no sleepovers but I feel like that was a normal reaction and even the ban she said until his finished his coursework he literally could’ve went home that day and finished it and he wouldn’t have had to sneak out and he wouldn’t have gotten grounded that was on Charlie
Yeah, for me it's not necessarily that Charlie's mom is wrong in her *choices* as a parent, but the problem I have is that she never takes the time to actually connect with him and find out the underlying reasons why he's doing things. She's so focused on correcting the behavior in an overbearing manner that it leaves no room for trust or proper communication to be built. So while it's not unreasonable for them to be concerned about his school work, it should have been a proper discussion about why he'd been avoiding school work (because I think it's deeper than just "he was distracted by Nick"), and establishing a foundation of trust that they understand how important the relationship is to him so that he wouldn't just immediately go on the defensive and rebel like he did.
