I went. Loved it. Would go again. It took me a whole day practically to tour it all as it is really almost a medieval village.. so much to see!! was so tired afterwards but it was so worth it. Also I went with no covid and they even had a Anne Boleyn play going on.. AMAZING

I love these videos but I suggest if you are ever in Paris you should do a tour of Napoleon and Josephine's private estate Chateau Malmaison it is filled with an amazing garden, beautiful interiors and very famous artwork. It also gives insight into the private life of Napoleon and Josephine two of Frances most influential figures.

I think it's perfect timing to go in September, the weather will still be warm and the crowds would have disappeared back to work and school etc. As for the Tower of London, it all depends how interested in English history you are. Some stay an entire afternoon, but most visitors spend around two hours there. Hope that helps?

Both videos I shot in summer, so yeah it was pretty hot! I'd say they're both excellent for different reasons. If you only have a short amount of time in London, see the Tower of London. If you have a day or two to spare, Windsor Castle is worth the trip!
4 reasons on why you should not mess with the queen's guard. 1. They are armed, yes it's true they armed and can shoot to kill if necessary, there job is by no means a ceremonial job. And unlike the U.S presidential guard who are armed with bolt action rifles, the queen's guard are armed with SA80 assault rifles, 2.they are fully trained soldiers trained in both armed and unarmed combat. 3. If someone is being too much of a handful they have a panic button, that will call for more guards to restrain you 4. Once restrained you will be handed over to the police and arrested. Seriously don't mess or make their job difficult, they are doing an important job and must be respected.

You can book times online if you want to. But most of the time, you can just walk in - no reservation required unless it's the summer months when it's really busy.

I'm surprised you missed showing Tower Green where Anne Boleyn and others were executed. While this may not have been the exact place, the bodies of two of Henry VIII's queens as well as other famous folks executed here are buried.
Now I am a bit disappointed, I always wanted to see the Crown Jewels, and I again understand and respect the, " No photos/videos" but now, you mentioned a Conveyor belt!! So I can't take my time admiring the jewels? This isn't right lad, people travel LONG distances to see them.. They are encased in thick, secured form of glass.. what reason now do they give for this? I now am displeased... and no longer have any interest. So I apologize and should thank you, for I would have been quite upset, paid for the tour and then to not be able, to stand long enough to enjoy every each, glitter and beauty of it all.. It's not that bad. Yes, you're on a conveyer belt - but it's only about 10 metres long. They use this so that tourists don't stand too long around them (and for security reasons, so that it makes it hard for thieves to plan something) If you want, you can go on the conveyor belt as many times as you want, so you can see every single jewel in the collection. Or, you can see them from behind the security guard on the other side (you might be a bit further away). The Imperial state crown itself is in a separate room - not on a conveyor belt. You can look at that as long as you like.
