This video took weeks, if not months of work, with several trips to and from London and a copious amount of editing time. I tried to make this the best guide to London as I could.

At 72 with health issues, I am past being able to travel. I was thrilled to afford a bus tour of Ireland in 1991 and a week's stay in Hawaii. I always wanted to see England, Scotland, and Wales when I was younger. Interestingly, I was watching The Loneliness of the Long-distance Runner when it occurred to me to search for a tour of London on RUclips and chose this one because it was shorter than some of the others to give me a quick view of the city. It included so many attractions and information to help the traveler get around from place to place using a variety of types of transportation. I may not be able to walk down London streets, but I can get an eyeful of its attractions by viewing videos of them such as Trafalgar Square and Windsor Castle. I am glad I took the time to look for it and am more than satisfied with the tour.

Excellent video Ninh, thank you. I liked the fact that you separated the city into 3 bits and systematically showed us around them. Also putting the admission prices with each attraction is a great idea - very useful for budgeting. Another thing that I like about your video is that you show the actual attraction which you are talking about, because there are many video bloggers who speak about one thing and misleadingly show something else - I'm sure their intent is not to mislead and they just want to pack in as many visuals as possible into the video but then their commentary and visuals simply go out of sync!

Also, other Vloggers seem to make the video about themselves and the camera is pointed towards their faces most of the time. I don't like this and it's not helpful for the person watching :)

Excellent guide to how to get around London. I was so overwhelmed until I saw this video. Now I think I can navigate the city and know where to go whereas before it was just a giant mystery to me. This is a VERY good London Travel Guide Video. I was there a month ago and I wish I had watched this video before I went. London is really easy to get around, but I missed some tourist highlights because I was unaware. Outstanding job making this video!

The west end restaurants seem lovely. Stunning country this
They really are! Some of them are really cheap and some are really expensive. But there's a good mix of eateries in the West End, you can find whatever you want.

Great job on showing everyone my home city, I was born in Waterloo. By the way for Shopperholics, if you've still not had your fill at Knightsbridge or Oxford Street, then not far from the West End is Shepherd's Bush, over there is Westfield London, and its the biggest shopping centre in the UK!

It's in the affluent part of the Greater London commuter belt.
You're inside the M25, short drive to the airport and only 30 minutes into Central London.
I hope you've got money, because the properties around there are not cheap.
If I won the lottery, I'd either live there or nearby Oxshott - the houses there are amazing!

This is the first video of yours I've seen. I like this one because the narration isn't rushed like some video's I've seen. I've been to London many times although not for a good few years now. I love London, though I wouldn't want to live there, or any city, far too chaotic and noisy for me, and expensive. London is probably the city with most number of famous modern and certainly historical sites anywhere in the world. I can't think of any other city in the world with more famous sites that are commonly known. Nice video, thanks for posting.

Excellent overview and some fabulous tips. Well worth the time to watch. Great English accent w/ high quality diction. I know food is a personal choice but a few recommendations (hidden gems) would also be nice. A+ grade.

As for food - I mentioned this in the West End section - but you can have literally anything you want in London.
Fancy some Lebanese food? Or Ethiopian? Or Canadian? It's surprisingly easy to find and there's far too much to list in one video.
As for recommendations, there's a French eatery on the side of Tower Bridge (that I technically did show on the video) that does amazing food. 👍

Thanks Kathy. You'll definitely be okay with water buses - and most of the main tube stations have disability access also.
They're shown on the tube map with the disabled logo on their circles, so you'll know which ones to use and which ones to avoid.

Absolutely! Fortunately for you, most of what London has to offer is free - most of the museums, walking around the outside of the major attractions ... I've just come back from London and even St Paul's Cathedral was free! (they usually charge for it, I think it has something to do with the Queen).

that's a great video, very informative and useful, I've visited many times and covered most of what you have, but for a newcomer its extremely useful, tips on what to see, and how to get about, well done
little tip, use buses as, currently, there is a price cap of under £5/day, it takes a bit longer though
Thanks very much. And yes - price capping exists on the buses but it takes longer, and price capping on the tube also exists depending on the zones. But the system is very convoluted to explain to tourists!
