i cut/file the sheath notch (at an angle) that holds the knife to make it easily deployable. it works good, but try not to remove too much material otherwise it won't hold it at all
I have never cared for the roundness of the Glock field knife, even though I own several, so I flattened the sides before stippling, and it worked great.
If Santa Claus were more like Alan.... That one nightly, yearly trip around the world would make a better place. On 3 is for me..... 🎈🥳🎈 Stipply awesome.
Blade steel type and traction are two of the three things I look for in a knife the third is lock strength if it's a folder or sheath type if it's a fixed blade knife. Thanx for the video my Bladed Brother 👍 ⚔️ ✝️ 🇺🇲
Thanks Alan Please keep the videos coming can you review the sub 2000 9m thanks love all your banter and video from an old ft. ord,7th ID Light fighter (Manchu warrior )
I was just wondering if you wouldn't mind doing a video on the edge modifications I own 3 and the edge is so inconsistent any help would be appreciated
I just received a budget blade with Carbon Fibre scales on it, and they’re slippery… I’m wanting to add grip can CF be strippled (sp?) or I saw another video the guy used a dremel to make channels up it… Thanx in advance and keep up the great work
@@ONThree Thank you for the reply! Yes, i think your right, and i even have a Dremel tool & all the attachments that i need to find a reason to use! I'm thinking scalloping and then a lot of buffing to smooth down the ridge's...I think since mines a folder i should take out the scales to do it..?? It's a bit intimidating never having done anything like this before! Thanx so much!!
Stippling worked out great… thanks for the hot tip.
Great video! As Alan says, "You can't have too many sharp, stabby, pokey stuff!"
Now I wanna do my Glock knifes like yours thank you sir

Dremel tool is probably your best bet for that material. I don’t have any experience with it.
