Vincent Price was such a renaissance man. He was terrifying. He was funny. He seemed to be a very nice guy too. There has never been another actor of his quality.
Many revivals, some were great, but the 70s edition with Paul Lynde and Peter Marshall as host seem to have the strongest wit amongst the panelists and questions.
How did you accept the fact that the Raiders move to Nevada? And that stadium is just fabulous, isn't it. Do you have a plan to go see them play? Victories should be on the rise, after Covid Pandemic is history. July 28, 2021
What did Vincent Price see through that hole that the fingers of his right hand made while he looked at the camera and the audience? His wide eyes made me laugh. I've always loved seeing him on the daytime and nighttime versions of The Hollywood Squares back in the 1970s, and enjoyed hearing his witty answers to the questions on the show. In fact, I even had a crush on him from late 1973 to mid-1978.
I’m surprised that Emmy Winner and A-List Actor, Edward Asner, would partake on “The Hollywood Squares,” especially, just coming off of one of THE MOST successful TV Sitcoms IN HISTORY!!! 🙂
They gave away those Pontiac Astra's because nobody was buying them...LMFAO! And they always had that shitty three speed manual they could have popped another 50 bucks for the automatic
No actually some American cars were selling quite well Toyota's heyday was in the 80's not the late 70's...Ford Thunderbird sold millions in 1977-78...so did the Camaro etc These Astra's were a tad better with the rust prone Vega

Peter Marshall it's just brilliant very professional keeps the game rolling and quick-witted...
Enjoy watching the old Hollywood Squares !
I could watch them for hours and hours.
@@johnshelton6434 I have done it.
Love it when i can hear Rose Marie laughing at Paul Lynde's answers.

This was a great show.

So good to see Ken "The Snake" Stabler off the football field. RIP Snake, we miss you...from your friends of the Raider Nation.

Addicted to this show!
I'm going to hop over to see Paul's Easter special after this... 😁
RIP Paul Lynde ! Paul was the funniest man ever
Paul Lynde was very funny on Hollywood squares when he added a little zinger
Tried looking up the lady contestant on google to see if she’s still single, she’s gorgeous
how could they not know Harper Lee
A far better time..,.
Mel Tillis liked the lady contestant. ❤
She’s gorgeous
Get in line!
wow the black lady is pretty
myeyesinside out, she really is. I wonder if she aspired to act or sing.
what does one have to do with the other???....
And she was single

And he was super smart. That is always attractive.
I bet Paul Lynde was in his glory with Ken Stabler sitting next to him.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mel tillis was having the time of his life back then with jerry Reed
And with the beautiful young lady contestant
Ken Stabler.. didnt know he did this show
Love Paul's face at 10:03 :)

🙂
He actually did HS for most of MTM's run, and a couple of other game shows during the 1970s as well.
Maybe he likes having fun and isn't a snob
He did the Pyramid too!
They had Grammy winners and Academy Award winners even bigger than Ed Asner on the show for years.
@@paulgrimaldi1751Right so did Betty White. And Ed was not the star of the MTM show. Jason Alexander played on Hollywood Squares after ‘Seinfeld’
yes pete you can mention the other networks on the night time show no rule againist that
Pretty Motown woman.
Still can't believe Harry Friedman worked with Peter Marshall for some time on Hollywood Squares.
I hope Mel and Denise got together.
This and match game the best
Yes absolutely my two all time favorites with the exception of the match game hollywood squares hour and match game 90s version both abysmal
This was not a Goodson Todman production to my knowledge
IMO Heatter-Quigley was probably the production company that acted most similarly to G-T.
That's my birthday April 9 th but I wasn't born in the 70s though lol
My mother's as well.
A piano for your trailer..lmao guess it's better than a saint bernard puppy.
Of course, when health care costs went through the roof, that was permanently reversed.
Elke Sommer was adorable.
Girl is hot
The questions on this show are so funny and amusing compared to Jeopardy which is almost totally humorless.

Corollas, Civics, and little Mazdas were what they were buying instead.

Datsuns were the foreign cars of choice back in the 70s. Agree about the American cars thought.
I bought American. You can have them. My Toyotas have lasted forever with no trouble.
Give me a 5 speed stick every time. I HATE automatics. The only time I drive an automatic is when I am PAID to do so.
When can you upload new Hollywood Squares episodes with Tom Bergeron?
They suck
@@atanasynikolic8579 my sentiments EXACTLY
Yeah back when the panelists began acting like idiots
