    Hi. What is the part number of the DC-DC converter that you used? Thanks.

    Hello, Very heplful video
    Did you only connect the +tive output from the converter to the screen fuse, and the negative output of the converter to a ground on the motherboad. Or did you isolate the screen power completely and run both positive and negative from the converter to the screen.
    Ta

    Hello thank you for your video
    Can you explain exactly what you did ? I mean where to solder exactly
    What resistor do you use on the converter ? I’m Not English I didn’t understand when you talked about it
    It would be even more helpful thank you in advance

    Hi Thanks for the video, but could you explain better what you did?
    Yes i've a dc-dc converter. but how to wire them? A schematic would be nice. Also which pins did you disconnect on the video-motherboard connector? All 4 pins from the left? Why

      thanks, you remove the first 3 pins that are the main voltage to the lcd (19v form jack or 7-9v from battery) then you add a step up converter and take the input voltage from the battery directly to the back of the lcd, so that the voltage is always 14v

      @ntechlab8357  Год назад

      you need to disassmble the lcd and connect the cable directly to the lcd main voltage

    I have similar issue with R556L. On the battery blue sceen after 1-2minutes. I've bought new battery, and the same resoults. Battery is charging, I can leave laptop on battery in bios settings and it will can work hour like that, but on windows there is blue screen. Newest bios, new hard drive, fresh windows, no drivers, or with drivers, - still no changes. Blue screen on battery with information that gereral issue occur (no specific driver is pointed or code).
    I will check your sugestion, that only when battery is low -you had filckering. I thik it can be the issue with Super I/O or with charger ic, or there is a semi-shorted component on the board, or the issue is with uma (integrated graphics) or with discreete (nvidia graphics) I have boardview and schematic so I will start to didding and I will do an update here later.

    Hi sir
    Thank you for this video I have an asus tp550l laptop and the screen flickers only when the battery level is at 70% and below How do I get the solution?

    • @ntechlab8357

      hello, as in the video, you have to find a step up converter connect the battery to the IN of the step up, and the output to the lcd directly, but remove the pins from the lvds connection. exactly as in the video.

    So the problem is solved by removing the first 3 pin from the Lcd power supply?

    • @ntechlab8357
      @ntechlab8357  Год назад

      not so easy, you remove the first 3 pins that are the main voltage to the lcd (19v form jack or 7-9v from battery) then you add a step up converter and take the input voltage from the battery directly to the back of the lcd.

      Can’t you you solder the battery power ( with step up converter) directly to the 3 pins you separated from the charger power supply ?

      Hi, probably the same problem, see what voltage you have on lcd B+ when on battery

      hi, sorry laptop is not here, lcd connects directly behind lcd, remove the lcd and find the pin to B+(vin) voltage or the fuse near and connect it there, be careful there may be 2 fuses, one for 3.3v one for Vin voltage, connect it to Vin, also as i say in the video, first remove the pins from the connector, or you will end with 2 vin voltages.

      Does it matter where we get the input voltage for the step up converter? Should we get it from the battery output specifically and how many volts should we apply to the lcd vin b+ input? I will be glad if you answer.
