Start with the easiest, Ram and CMOS (even though rams usually don't break, that is why most have lifetime warranty) then do a motherboard physical inspection, if nothing seems damaged, you can try to reflash bios
you can try this ruclips.net/video/zjAZ0DTX3aI/видео.html&ab_channel=HPSupport you can find the bios for your laptop on the support page for your laptop, but it is not 100% that it will work, depending on the laptop, or the bios corruption, or the kbc state it might not work. or you can search your model + "blind bios update" good luck!
I was experiencing the same issue with a HP stream and a technician resolve the problem a month ago and now I’m having the same problem what would you think is the cause and why it’s happening again so quick?
That's the reason why most of the time I'd rather fix my laptop/phone rather than asking help from a technician, because the thing is that when you fix it you will learn some new knowledge and skills about it, and you can help others, compared to asking help from a technician you're not really sure if that guy is good at it and had already some experiences before, or the store just hired it for the money, and on the other hand yes maybe the technician is good, but we don't know maybe they are not really fixing it so that you will comeback and pay again for the exact same issue. Well I live here in the philippines and based on my observations that's how they work here, they dont really fix it, they just "fix it" for money lol
Hi sir I have a hp 15 dv0004la model. When I press the turn on button the screen do not turn on and the caps blink 3 long and 2 short. I pulled off the ram stick and swiched the module and nothing its the same. I only have 1 ram stick of 4 gb. The problem its the ram or the bios Sir??? Thanks for your help.
Hello excuse me mine is almost the same exact thing the only difference is it doesn't have any screws whatsoever indicated on the laptop whatsoever and it has the same issue with the caps lock button is just blinking I'm guessing mine is a newer model type I don't know though
hi, what is the exact model? also you should look exactly how many times and how fast the caps lock blinks, it may be anything from faulty ram to a faulty lcd cable.
@@ntechlab8357 idk exactly because the stickers were peeled off but it's an hp stream laptop it's a very thin one that doesn't involve a back battery what so ever
@@ntechlab8357 oh yeah I was expecting it had to do with something on the back but even then the font that they used is very small to the point where I can't even read it even up close and it's in a color that matches with the laptop color scheme
Just as future datapoint: 3.2 blinks was bad memory slot (2nd) on HP 15-bs015dx. Booted with single known good 8GB module in slot 1 fine after.
Good to know, thanks
Same problem brother hp Notebook 15s-du0050tu its 3.2 time capslock light blinking .
How to solve this problem??
@@satyamtiwari7510 swap a single known good memory module into a single slot

Worked for me, Thanks a ton mate!
I have the same problem, resoldered the socket, put new ram, flash the bios and still has the same problem.
Your problem solved
Hello sir, thank you for the information.. I just wanted to know how if my laptop have onboard/soldered ram? I'm really frustated of this..
Hi, it depends on the model, some have onboard, some have slotted ram, some have onboard + slotted, write the exact model and i will tell you.
What he said :)
can you reinstall the bios without that special adapter?

First find how the technical resolved the issue. Not all problems with seemingly same error codes, have the same solution.

even if you don't have stickers, motherboard should have a model engraved on it, in my case it was "EPV51 LA-G076P"

well then you can google "hp steam motherboard" go to pictures tab and see if any motherboard looks like yours
😊
i need bios file. pleace
