Thank you for all the comments letting me know where you're watching from. It really does help me understand how my videos are consumed. Also, a lot of you made me laugh pretty good on this fine Sunday morning. Have a great week everyone! Here are some more transformation videos to watch: ruclips.net/p/PLhqK_8dnaIW3CFOrkJ7U4I-nIyhWA1fMV
I’m sitting on the couch in the living room, BIG MISTAKE. My wife won’t shut up and keeps interrupting you. I usually watch in my office on my computer or in bed on my iPad but next time I won’t make this mistake. 😂
Watching it on the couch. RUclips is my TV shows I watch, and your one of the series. I like that you are Yourself, colorfull an cuss when appropriate. Not being a censored version of Yourself. Keep on keeping on. This series better not never end lol
I laughed out loud, "It's rough on all sides, like your mom"! And I bowed to another David P. gem of wisdom when you said, "It always has to go through the door." I'm with you. That should be on a plaque in every woodshop in America. BTW: The desk looks awesome. The retro guitar amp touch is pure genius.
I'm actually watching it at work to help motivate me to keep moving. I work at a desk but I basically maintain the storefront and as someone with ADHD, having someone in the background working hard on something helps motivate me to get stuff done too 😁👍
Started watching this on my phone in the kitchen while eating. Finished watching on my stationary computer at my desk. All happening on the west side of Norway. Good stuff.
That turned out really sweet. You're the first video I watched after I ended my day. It's now 9:30pm and I'm in my living room watching videos on my laptop hooked up to my TV, like your mom.
I'm currently watching this on a lounge chair in my backyard next to an firepit enjoying a lovely almost spring evening here in Perth, Western Australia. Spent the day building a bench around a tree in my backyard out of scrap Jarrah decking and framing timber I had lying around.
I watched your video sitting at my desk in my Ladies' Parlor/Art Studio where I also have my desktop computer. Now I want to go out and find two Mid Century tiered end tables. What an amazing transformation and design.
At my "desk". Four 3 drawer plastic units (black) and 2 16inch by 6 foot project panels on top. When I win the lottery I am building everything out of walnut, even my car. Love your channel.
Currently living in Italy (from US) since you asked! One of my favorites that you have built. I love the 'amp' look on the speaker boxes. Such a clean piece all finished.
I’m in the afterglow of cutting my grass on a hot day (85 degrees). Showered, ate dinner, chilling out on living room sofa. Perfect setting for a new Make Something video.
In Australia your videos usually come out at night time, so I generally watch them in bed. I started making my own RUclips videos after watching your channel and I started using skill share. My videos aren’t woodworking though. Keep up the killer work mate 🤙🏻🤙🏻
I watch on my desktop computer in my computer room. I take notice on recovery from mistakes or mis-steps, and of course your techniques as well. Another great build with class!! Thanks!
Watching in the kitchen, drinking coffee. Really liked the rework, especially the speaker grills. Wow. Only thing I’d change is the legs. Seems like even dowels would wiggle somewhat and it’s pretty fragile looking. That said, still very cool.
Awakened this morning with tons of plans of things to do in my shop , sat down with my coffee to wake up and watch a video of or 2 of yours and now the sun's gone and nothing's done ! lol I own 2 buildings about 18' x 45' in the tiny town Iowa town I now live . They are separated by both a garage door and a regular door , One side is my home and the other is my shop so my commute back and forth isn't bad and it makes a pretty good man cave 😁.... lol
"Check My Grill" should be album #3.I see It going gold. Cool transformation, mom and dad had a set of end tables kinda like these, musta got lost in one of the many moves..
Watching at home, getting ready to play some BG3, but started off with this video, a nice toasted bagel with cream cheese and a cup of coffee. It's a good start to the day!
A nice revision of an old piece of furniture. I was a little skeptical about the color variations of the oak, the result is nice. Well seen the loudspeaker cover in homage to the old guitar amps. I usually watch your videos on Sunday mornings with a coffee in hand.
It looks great, although the legs' profile isn't something I'm too fond of; they look 'distressed'. I'm surprised you ended up permanently affixing the legs in the end. For future projects would you still consider attempting removable legs. Or would you instead attempt something closer to an extendable table, where the middle piece is removable and the top can extend and retract to make it a compact or wide desk.
Watching at my dining room table on my lunch break. Also - for the last few months I only watch your videos at normal speed. Noteworthy. You’re doing a great job.
Sitting in the kitchen watching your video. Always love seeing what you come up with you are a true artist and craftsmen thanks for sharing as always.keep up the amazing work
I love this desk so so so much. I'm sitting in my craft room/office making a tiny art gallery wall (current piece: tiny macrame) and thinking about how to rebuild my craft table.
Watching in Thailand. I first started watching your videos when you made a collaborative stool. I have to say that your videos walk the fine line between informative, simple enough for us to understand while being entertaining. Basically I love watching your awesome videos!
The "It always has to go through the door." reminded me of a couch that was delivered to my first apartment. I wasn't home when it was delivered, so I never knew that it could be disassembled. A few years later, when it was time to move, my friend and I spent hours trying to figure out how to get it out the front door. Eventually, we gave up on the door and instead took it out a second story window using ropes. About a decade later, it was time to take it to the dump. It was only at this time that I discovered the hidden latches that allowed the back to come off.
I watch while getting ready for the day. You make me have to stop what I’m doing to check out some of the details you’re trying to show which is a testament to your work. Desk looks fantastic!
Nice desk! I like the speaker baffles. I need to go find some grille cloth like you used. I can relate to “It always has to go thru the door”. I made a tall headboard for a king-sized bed, my shop is in my basement and it cleared the ceiling opening over the staircase by about 1/4”! I watch from Colorado. Usually watching late at night, so I use Bluetooth headset on my iPad so I do not wake my wife. And laughing into a pillow also helps! 🤣
Watching at home while doing chores, so realistically I'm actually listening to half of it and watching half. But really I'm just here for the "your mum" jokes 😅 Loving the vibe and energy!
Watching from the couch in my bar on Sunday morning. Great project. Love the way you tied the tables together. The “amp” grills look awesome. Will keep my eyes open for similar tables.
I really like seeing your style taking form in these videos you can really see your style coming thought in all the design decisions you are making. very distinctive!
Love this series of videos. Great to see stuff repurposed. Watching this one whilst having breakfast before work but watch them whenever I get a spare moment.
I'm watching your video while eating breakfast. Was very excited when I saw you launched a new video last night (Australia time). I love how you upcycle/repurpose furniture from your living room.
"It always has to go through the door." I just finished a commissioned piece that I actually built both a scale model of the piece and my door. I concluded the finished piece would NOT fit through the basement door and I was searching for an off-site place to glue/finish the piece. I wound up using a water based urethane with low VOCs and my wife let me use her yoga studio (old living/dining room) for glue up. The finished piece cleared the open casing and newel post by 1/2" on either side! I know all about "must go through the door!" Oh, watching it at the breakfast bar in the kitchen. Battery is dead and I don't want to drag an extension cord outside to the deck. Happy Sunday morning!
I enjoy watching the Drunken Woodworker Make Something after dinner, eating dessert at the dining table. Double dessert. Loving the Supro inspired details!
Where do I watch? I have my personal computer desk next to my work sit-stand desk, so when I work from home, i watch RUclips "in the background" like radio. When I hear something interesting, I pause the playback and backup. You are one of the content creators that always cause me to backup! Either because you are doing something I haven't seen before, or you throw out a comment that I'm not sure I heard correctly ("rough like your mother"). Enjoy this new series, it is very relatable even it I have a garage with tools because the tools are currently buried due to clutter that has spilled out of the house (grumble). Keep on making on!
Absolutely love how this turned out and love seeing your personality make it into the project videos!! Keep it up, Sir! I usually watch on my phone, outside on the deck.
Love, love, love this and your video style!!! Watching while I’m eating my breakfast because what better way to start the day than with some Make Something shenanigans?! 😂
Nice build. I’m watching the video at my cottage on the border to Sweden , just next to an old fortress built to protect Norway from Sweden back in the beginning of 1900. 😊
Thank you for all the comments letting me know where you're watching from. It really does help me understand how my videos are consumed. @home, @my desk. Thanx Dave
I'm just happening to be Sitting on the toilet for this video. Very entertained. Love all your videos, for years!
at home, it's almost 1 pm here. also, my speakers are waaaay too large for your alignment 😂😂😂
I’m sitting on the couch in the living room, BIG MISTAKE. My wife won’t shut up and keeps interrupting you. I usually watch in my office on my computer or in bed on my iPad but next time I won’t make this mistake. 😂
Watching it from Okinawa, Japan 🤙

I actually tend to watch your videos in my workshop. It tends to give me random ideas and I love it.
I'm actually watching it at work to help motivate me to keep moving. I work at a desk but I basically maintain the storefront and as someone with ADHD, having someone in the background working hard on something helps motivate me to get stuff done too 😁👍

Watching this one from my wife's sewing room next to my workshop but usually watch from my recliner in our motorhome. Really nice piece.
I was waiting for your mom joke when you kept talking about going through the door. I've really been loving the vibe from the last couple build videos
I'm watching this video from outside your window 👀
😅😅😅😅
But it’s not really a window it’s three tvs :)
😂
Click clack pow stalker down
I'm currently watching this on a lounge chair in my backyard next to an firepit enjoying a lovely almost spring evening here in Perth, Western Australia.

You are living the good life!
@@MakeSomethingindeed today was the good life

Videos come out in the evening here in Holland, so either I watch em next day with a cup of coffee or at night, in my home office.
Currently living in Italy (from US) since you asked! One of my favorites that you have built. I love the 'amp' look on the speaker boxes. Such a clean piece all finished.
Love the CNC spitting chips onto the floor after it was vacuumed... with the dust shroud up on the CNC
I’m in the afterglow of cutting my grass on a hot day (85 degrees). Showered, ate dinner, chilling out on living room sofa. Perfect setting for a new Make Something video.
I'm watching in my living room while working on my notes for work. I watch often and just started woodworking last year in the fall, so around a year.
Great video! Watching from the hospital cafeteria as my wife is upstairs. We had our first son a couple days ago. Everyone is doing well
CONGRATS!!
Congrats on your new “shop assistant-to-be”!🥰
Enjoy the peace and quiet of those last few days. You won't have that again for a few decades. 😀
In Australia your videos usually come out at night time, so I generally watch them in bed. I started making my own RUclips videos after watching your channel and I started using skill share. My videos aren’t woodworking though. Keep up the killer work mate 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Oh man, thank you! Much appreciated!!
Watching in the kitchen, drinking coffee. Really liked the rework, especially the speaker grills. Wow. Only thing I’d change is the legs. Seems like even dowels would wiggle somewhat and it’s pretty fragile looking. That said, still very cool.
3:45 what a clever move to zoom out to make enough room for the text. Bravo!
Watching sitting on an old mica chair behind an old kitchen table that is my 'office' in a 'natural reserve' in Paraguay.
Love seeing what comes out of your mind when you find old pieces like this. Beautiful work and love the shadow line on the leg transitions

Cool transformation, mom and dad had a set of end tables kinda like these, musta got lost in one of the many moves..
Watching at my PC in the sitting room, having a cuppa tea after Tea (supper) in Perthshire Scotland. Love the work you do. Take care & stay safe M8!
Watching at home, getting ready to play some BG3, but started off with this video, a nice toasted bagel with cream cheese and a cup of coffee. It's a good start to the day!
The beauty of modern technology is that I can go from the bathroom, to the kitchen, & back to the shop and never miss a scene!
Watching on my TV about 2 hours after your video was uploaded at 11:30pm local time Melbourne Australia. Cheers MikeV
I have the exact vintage side table! But only 1. Awesome, solid construction 🥰 Going to refinish it eventually with a new stain color.
Watched this video from my home office on a Sunday morning on Vancouver Island, Canada,
Am watching your video with my morning coffee from our caravan, we are on a year holiday travelling around Australia, love your humor
Great work one of a kind that no one else has and your very good humor is a real plus. 6am setting on the couch
A nice revision of an old piece of furniture. I was a little skeptical about the color variations of the oak, the result is nice. Well seen the loudspeaker cover in homage to the old guitar amps.
I usually watch your videos on Sunday mornings with a coffee in hand.
Watching on my couch on a Sunday morning.
That came out amazing. I'm watching from my massage chair on a lazy Sunday morning in Norton, OH.
It looks great, although the legs' profile isn't something I'm too fond of; they look 'distressed'.
I'm surprised you ended up permanently affixing the legs in the end. For future projects would you still consider attempting removable legs. I watch it at the beach realizing my pockets have holes.
Home office. Start work in a few minutes just having a cuppa. Still loving that video wall, I look out for it in every video now!
Thats a cool new take on telephone style side tables. I really like that.
Also on my couch lol
