My brother and his wife won a little over $300K on a slot machine in Vegas. Being Canadian they were able to get back what was retained for taxes purposes. They always enjoyed gambling before within reasons. After they won, they turned into full on gamblers. Within a few years not only they lost all they had won but they kept on gambling and lost just about everything. Winning that money was the worst think that could have happened to them.
Glad I watched this. I have literally just quit gambling 2 days ago. Slots are so unbelievably addictive. I'm sick of losing and it's not worth the thrill anymore. For me when I won i felt I could afford to just keep going, before I realised it i would have spent much more than the win.
Thanks for covering this topic
I have gambled £7 in my life and won £37 back. I quit whilst I was ahead 😀
