Hi... I know this is a hard song with all of the fills and stuff, but I'm really having trouble with the bass drum in the punk section. Are there any tips you guys have for limb independence?
Practice slowly. Ideally you want to get one or two of your limbs on "autopilot" so you really don't have to think about them and can concentrate on just one limb. Also, I always look at which drums or cymbals line up with others - crash and kick together, kick by itself, snare and crash together etc. Do that until you don't have to think about it and then the speed should come more easily!

Now that I think of it, would there be a way to do the fill where you transition from the left crash to the right crash on the toms (later in the song) with only 1 crash cymbal?
@@freebeast4416 I guess you moved on long ago, but future readers might like it: you could alternate between the bell of your cymbal, and the cymbal itself. (Use the shoulder of your stick on the bell for a more different sound)
Sorry if this is a bit..much. Could you make another one of these for the same song, but without the 3rd drum on the top? My drum only has 2 toms on the top and two on the bottom so I’m a bit confused😅

what would be the best choice for a metronome speed on this song
This song changes tempo speeds multiple times actually. The Intro with all the marching fills is at 150bpm, and then when the cymbals crash out it goes to 165bpm for 1 measure then up to 196bpm for the main punk part of the song. It won't change again until the 2nd marching section, which drops to 186bpm for the triplet fill at 7:53 then goes down to 176bpm for the marching triplet rolls. after the big accented snare drum roll and fill going into the final chorus it goes back up to 196bpm for the rest of the song. Hope this helps!
