Same
As someone who has been a percussionist all their life but has struggled to put a name to several of these rhythms, this is extremely helpful.
Absolutely right. I am not a sight drummer, but I have played almost all of these rhythms (not the waltz! For what, I've never played any waltz music?)

6 months ago, I was a complete newbie and only knew beat 1 & 2, after working on this as little as 5 mins per day, I mastered all beats except for 17 and 22, this helped me alot. Thanks from canada ❤❤

The “quarter note feel with syncopation” is most commonly known as the d-beat
Love the "Bossa Nova" groove!

Hey! What software do you use to make drum tabs?
Good lesson 🥁👍
Very nice! When are new drum charts coming?
I will do more song charts I just get scared about possible copyright issues with the audio 😆
@@SightReadDrums right I forgot about that issue 😅
No. 22 is the hardest for me rn but i’m learning rosanna so shuffles will get easier
5:17 aka the purdie shuffle!
11, 14, 16, 19 and 22 are best
23 drum beat... Bolero! Could be... thank you!
15: universally speaking

❤🥁❤️
I am so addicted to GD I read this as 2.2 common drum beats
🥁🎶🔝
Wow , SUPER !!!!!
The 14th one sounds like shake it off 😂
1:32 swing rhythm
hi! for the 7th pattern, what instrument is that for the lower notation?
Love this, thank you. As a non-drummer, I assume the top line is the hi-hat rhythm, and the bottom ones on the staff are the snare?
Yes the 'x' on top is hi-hat, notes in the second space from top are the snare, notes in the bottom space are the kick
👍🤘🥁
im new to drumming and im learning to play a song. I have everything down till i get to a part thats #11 (Eighth Note Feel) If anyone can give me tips it would gladly help!!!
i ❤20-220 0:11
funny, #5 sounds like REM's "Everybody Hurts"
Rosanna rosanna
As someone who has never played drums in my life, holy crap
Are there tutorials for each of these?)
Number 6 sounds like it should lead into the synth strings from “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”
👍👍👍
2:49
Eu quero essa partituras?
I’ve NEVER heard that reggae groove before.
7 is the pink panther
Bro can i get these backups
👍👍👍👍👍👍🥁🥁🥁
What do the dots next to the notes mean, like on the triplet feel
A dot extends the duration of the note by half. In this case we’re in 12/8 time so the dotted quarter notes last for 3 eighth note beats.
Is 2 and 9 are not the same, except for the bpm ? Nevertheless grea. Thanks
No Bo Diddley beat?
4:40 Knocked Loose breakdown be like
You hai the perfect opportunity to put a transcription of polyriddim, the black sheet, or any venetian snares song, and you didnt. Thats why youre making these and not me.
❤ so sweet 💕 you liked very nice bardar
The first beat for billie jean
Why is the triplet feel one in 12/8? Can you play it in 4/4?
Depend on how you count it.
In 12/8 it's usually a Slow Blues
In 4/4 it's commonly a Shuffle...
It can be written in 4/4 as well. The 8th notes would be written as triplets in that case.
@@Lovelystevie How do different time signatures create different feels?
@@WD.909 well, AT slow tempos you play all triplets on Hi hats or ride written in 12/8
And with medium too fast tempos you play thé Shuffle often written in 4/4
Slow triplet tempos feel liké half time beats....
4. Radio Ga Ga
JESUS LOVES YOU...!
GOD BLESS YOU...!
Bro it's swing not jazz
But it's used mostly in jazz so stop being a smart-ass
