Super useful! Hopefully they add more modes, Dorian, Lydian etc… to match the Quintessence of TC Electronics.
Thanks for the feedback!
You could just shift the root note to get the different modes. E.g. C major to get G lydian.
More useful would be harmonic and melodic minor as they have a different interval structure.
I'm the singer and rhythm guitarist in my band. I feel like a vocalist focused update to CorOS would make the Cortex a killer device for any vocalists/looper singer-songwriter types. As is I use my Boss VE-500. Would happily trade that and my pedalboard in for a cortext if it could handle vocal harmony/doubling/effects and guitar/looper duties. It's so close already and has the I/O for it already. Just needs a vocalist focused update/set of stuff.
Looking forward to this. As another user said, needs more options for scale types and custom scales (input note triggers selected output notes). Hopefully this is coming soon.
Digital John!
How did you type that in 8-bit sound?
If ever there was an effect made for John, this is it. Had him on my podcast, he's a genius.
🔥
Endless, endless fun
🔥
no matter what people play with this sound it sounds like polyphia now.
🤘❤nice
🤘
Does it send midi for controlling synth/piano plugins through USB?
I wonder how it performs with polyphonic pitch effects. It seems to be the Achilles' heel for multi fx units. I mean, not drop tune 2 half notes. More like one octave up or down and playing chords, without hearing artifacts like brittle or warbling sounds.
You guys should add a micropitch to the QC
hey digital john
Neural we need the acustic sim for QC :D pleaseeeee jejejeje
I thought there was …
@@sugarprobe the arquetype Tim hemson have acustic sim but the QC not :/
@@Brixiomendoza there is definitely an acoustic sim in the QC..its in the factory around 6 i believe.. i dont have it on right now, but yeah there is and its better than the one in the henson, and petrucci plugins
@@sugarprobe there for sure is
Do you by chance have a user profile and have this (and other presets) available to download? I've looked and can't find within the app. Im admittedly still learning the QC & app so I'm struggling to find a lot of content that I know is there.
Any chance any of these presets can be shared on cortex cloud? Ir if somebody can share an effective preset, cos my ones do not sound anything like this lol
Is there a factory preset that demonstrates this?
They need to reconfigure some of these foot functions. Almost erased a preset with my foot trying to page through presets/stomp/scene modes during my first gig with QC. Not even sure what I pressed.!!!! The light was blinking red and QC is asking if I want to save? I'm on a stage in front of people. This shouldn't be possible. Un-nerving
Would this work with vocals also?
Very good! QC is getting better every day! But I would like to ask the development team not to neglect amp simulations. Mainly clean amps like the deluxe reverb.. Ac30.. it would be great to have more amps in this style, especially with very robust bass!
Very cool, but what kind of composition is playing at the beginning?)
When will you put in a good intelligent pitch shifter instead of this glitchy sounding gadget.
Probably a while....artifacts come with pitch shifting up lol.. their pitch shifter is pretty nice compared to other modelers. Can go down a whole octave at least and it be clean
@@jerryhill8281 apparently you haven’t used the intelligent harmonizers in AxeFX or Helix. The minivoicer in the Quad Cortex is hot trash unless you want to sound like Tim Henson. It just sounds bad I don’t know what they’re doing but it sounds like it has some kind of envelope filter on it. It’s not just a straight up intelligent harmonizer like Fractal and line6 have.
Its ok But original and best bigvoicer : BRIAN MAY!
