Got some tips from Neural DSP on how to get it closer, but I might have to REIMPORT the IR to have it be more optimised for the new alghoritm:
"As far as the extra bass that is displayed in the EQ, you can try the following which should compensate or fix the extra low end that's showing.
    - If the QC is being used as the interface trying the following:
    - Setting the plugin input to +2.26 dB
    OR
    - Setting the QC input row gain (Hold input node) to -2.26 dB
    - Old custom IRs will need to be reloaded via Cortex Control to match exactly."

I kind of agree. Nothing against modelling but every company seems to start from scratch and then build the same amps and cabs as the last device like how many duplicates of modded JCM800s and V30 cabs do I need in my studio? Are people really spending money on yet another 5150 plugin, another Marshall style crunch and another Fender clean. Same goes for those Synergy pre-amps. The same 3 tones over and over. At least Line6 is starting to model a few weird and unobtainable amps and some people in the Kemper community are doing their own profiles of vintage stuff but with the cabinet and mic placement baked in.

Plugin sounds ever so slightly rounder. Nothing that would make any difference in a track

Nope. Just the combo he chose to use. I suggest exploring the space more

That has absolutely nothing to do with "digital" 🤣
