These chapters in the books are by far the best Jaime characterization in the whole series imo. Jamie really shows his prowess as a commander and leader but also shows that he is willing to reconcile and help bring the realm back together.
yeah!! There's a scene with Tywin and Arya...Tywin is talking about how Jaime had dyslexia; didnt know how to read...TYWIN MADE HIM READ 4 HOURS A DAY till he was able to Learn Reading properly. So yeah, Tywin raised him well!
Stark r also 1 of the major houses (Ned was 1 of 4 wardens of the 7 kindgoms). At this point of the story, i think House Frey served House Lannister(Tywin was also 1 of 4 wardens). On top of the fact that the king was a Lannister. Jaime couldve killed him on the spot, and nobody wouldve tried to stop him.

Normally i'd get mad at this music, but you actually added cool subtitles and transitions so it almost feels like it's an actual appreciation of the moment with effort put into it. AND you actually chose a cool moment! Good job, dude.
People forget how skilled he really was. Not just with the blade but in military strategy. He did take his knighthood seriously. And when his home got taken he wasn’t there to play around.
Tywin's children all had some of his traits. Tyrion: his political skills Jaime: his martial and tactical skills Cersei: his cold and calculating demeanor The only one who lived was the smartest.
Deep in his heart Tywin knew how smart and capable Tyrion was...still, he's never able to fully overcome the grief about his wife dying giving birth to Tyrion himself. This, combined with Tyrion being a dwarf, clouded Tywin who never allowed himself to at least TRY to show some love to Tyrion

It’s very underwhelming. I had such high hopes. Instead I literally got a b bunch of school marmies constantly sour and pissed, one bloody birthing scene after another, no sunshine ever, and underwhelming dragon scenes who trample thousands of civilians to death just because. Jaime,as corrupt as he was, still had humanity about him and that made his loss at the series end sad.That last exchange with Brianne of Tarth was hard.There she was, the woman he belonged with and he simply went on willfully determined to die with Cersei when a different destiny of life was right in front of him.
One of the only redeeming parts of the series finale was Edmure putting himself forward to be king and everyone basically tells him to “Shut the fuck up”

This also ties in to the similarities between Tyrion & Jamie. Tyrion made a similar threat/promise at King's landing when he was there with Bronn.
