Heck yeah! This is TRUE BOAB style. Joel your interviews are good. That was part of what you did that made the channel interesting. Letting others tell there story as well on your platform. The videos before...were trying to hard to go to the glam crowd is my opinion. Like someone had wrote the script for you. This feels like year one but with a better Joel. More professional and more organized. You make it like anyone can do if you try hard. And that's the part that was so inspiring. And your personality is back. I feel like you are just being yourself again like back in the beginning. Please just keep being yourself and don't let others in the future spoil the way you make a production. In my eyes your the best channel on RUclips. Good job 👍. BOAB is back !!

Joel I was hooked on the cruising life ever since I was about 12 years old and watched captain Ron. I have always been on the more adventurous side. I got my first sailboat at 15, and have had many since. The dream has always been to leave for good. I finally have the perfect boat, permanent income, and most of what I need to be totally self sufficient if need be.

Hi Joel! Just want to say how proud I am of your personal growth. You explained the difference between your mindset when you started out 7 years ago to how you now approach your life now and I could completely relate to that change. As we go through life what used to work doesn’t stay the same. Growth equals change. Your new crew looks eager to learn and that’s going to take him far. I’m here for the adventures!

One of the better videos does the angel get stronger everytime he gets into the charter business maybe now he understands the standard for a traveling man and the reality of boat life it is a great change to see the person he was to the person he is today and how much forward growth he has made mentally to travel upwards and onwards and it is also nice to have friends I always send at the hardest place to reach in a boat and tell them if you get through this you got a great future

scraping bottoms under da sea.....you need ear plugs to stop those critters making an ear home. At least have rubbing alcohol on hand to pour in the ear canal to get those freeloaders out! ;)

I don' t know what happened with that net at the end. Funny but looked like a good throw. I've always thought shrimp nets were the bomb. I watched this RUclips cute lady named Kelly do it and she got a lot of great shrimp.
I've been thinking I'd like to use up the last of my active years on a boat. Possibly somewhat coastal in the Baja area at first. Possibly farther south eventually. One lady had been having a great time off the Panama / Costa Rica coast for years. It seems doable, but, yes, I have some requirements.
I have been working on those requirements here in my house. I have a 1000 plus hour battery bank. LiPo . I have some solar panels. I have lots of radios, I'm a radio nut. Electronics started as a hobby, became a profession, and is now a hobby again and will keep me busy, and I have lots of tools and equipment. I have lots of mechanical tools. I have some understanding of a boat marine engine. I have some understanding of chart plotters, radar, weather equipment, and getting them to talk with each other. A lot of this is the result of study study study. I think there's a possibility that cooking on one of those new plate cookers could be a good direction to go. That would mean a larger inverter to handle it. RUclips videos (as a source of income) ? Probably not, it almost takes s gimmick to get it going. It takes a tremendous amount of time and even then folks might not be successful as you are. A boat, dingy, generator for the boat, might be in my future.

I barely missed a whopper that was swimming around the boat! Tried to lead him and he just froze when I cast it.
From what I’ve learned about you, your total capable of living the boat life! Sounds like a sweet set up you have there. You might go through space withdrawals though.
Seems like you could earn money doing what your good at! Electronics. Many cruisers earn their way fixing other peoples stuff in different harbors. Yea most full time cruising boats I’ve been ok have a generator and they put it to good use.
