Hi Mike, I wanted to ask. I have the B175HW and it has been working great. It was set to 800hz . I have been seeing the fish marking really well. The waters I fish are from anywhere 12ft. to over 100. Do I customize my frequency based on depth for example 24 feet but then what would I change it to when drifting 70 to 30 feet etc? Just curious but I love this transducer. Also, if I find fish stacked up in an area on a drift, should I just drift it or set my minn kota to spot lock. just off the fish or on top of them? Thanks for your help.
Thanks Mike learned more watching your videos then hours with reps. I fish similar to your style in rivers and Chesapeake. I fish striper mostly trolling and some bay bottom fish and big cats. If you were to choose between b150 or b75 or airmar/Navico b148 HDi (being pushed by simrad rep) where would you go? My gut was b150? Thanks brother keep up the good work!
