Excellent communication, beautiful teamwork. Things go so much smoother when players work together. This is probably one of the calmest non-stealth Helldiver difficulty missions I've seen.
It's not THAT uncommon on helldive difficulty. Although often there's no mic's, so you have to depend on some experience & intuition to get that cooperative flow working.
I have found out that shooting down the leg's of a Hulk bot can extremely slow down their movement highly recommend using this tactic against Hulks scorches
I was there when Malevelon was liberated. Me, my friend, and his friend had a damn good time wiping out those bots. Nice to know we were with you boys! There's something lowkey inspiring about seeing actual US Marines playing Helldivers. You know your stuff!
this was so cool to watch. It was like literally watching a movie. Only thing bad about this video was that i didnt have any popcorn. Please upload some more of these kinds of vids
The creek is a little exaggerated. Helldive difficulty is pretty chaotic anywhere, creek or not, bots or bugs. It either goes kinda like in this video, or you get into a death-loop and burn too many reinforcements. At least there was no toaster aircraft towers at the creek. If you get an air tower within range of bot artillery support... that really sucks.
This is the second video of yours that I’ve watched first one was a Ready or Not so i was curious to see how you guys went about helldivers a much more high octane fast paced game as someone who plays this game a ton super fun to see
I've found that using the trees to mask my approach and toss a 380 beacon inside their bases works beautifully. Although there was one time I found a jamming station with such poor perimeter security that I was able to crawl inside, deactivate the jammer, and activate the hellbomb before they knew I was there. Got good memories fighting on M Creek
Not a huge fan of the 380's. They're a little spread out, and they last long enough to limit your ability to push forward. I think 380's are better on defense than offense, as it puts danger on a large area for a prolonged period. 120's work well though. And a pair of well placed 500kg's (or a 500 and a laser) are just impeccable.
@@kathrynck the fact that it's spread out is part of the reason I like it. On anything except the largest of bases it's a better than even chance that it's a one and done, and even if it isn't when it's time to push in it's left basically undefended
@@firestorm165 Even if you're lucky enough to hit all the targets, it can take long enough that you're likely to get a flare. And then you have 'real' problems ;) But it's great on defense. And it does allow you to make a throw and run off, with a fairly high chance of getting all the bot factories. That's against bots though. I guess there's some similar situations with bugs, except a 320 is unlikely to get very many bug-holes or eliminate enough eggs. It can be good though. It's just more situational. I like a 500, cuz it's pretty good on heavies close to it, and it clears a decent sized area of non-heavies, and quickly. 320 is amazing on that new base-defense mission though. Likewise mines. Also great on those kill-count tiny-maps (although it'll kill all the friendlies if it's placed wrong hehe). It's probably mainly situation & playstyle. Like the mortars.. if everyone avoids stepping anywhere there was an enemy in the last few seconds, mortars work fine. If people shoot a target and then run across that space, the mortar is gonna cause a lot of TK. 320 does pack a lot of boom in one call-down.
@@kathrynck let them pop the flare, from best case to worst case scenario they'll either A: be looking for a diver that's long gone as there's nothing left there worth fighting for, B: get popped mid flight by a 15 inch battleship shell which neatly solves that problem or C: successfully deploy and lose most of their reinforcements in the ongoing bombardment. As for bugs granted I tend to use 380s less but I still find them valuable as closing 2-3 holes is far quicker and easier than closing 10 with a bunch of angry critters on your tail
It’s crazy that these professional veterans are more better then any gamer that tried to take the creek. They have suffered so many casualties but these guys are badasses to take on the creek! 🫡

I've had teamwork like this.. maybe twice from lvl 1 to 52. It's a beautiful thing. I often distract shredder tanks by proning in front and harassing them while the back is turned.. everyone else blows them up. same with hulks
I'm only level 41, and I've had many runs with great teamwork. Not with this much communication, but similar levels of cooperation. What difficulty do you usually play? I find that if you just crank it up to Helldive difficuly, you tend to get more conscientious teammates. I swear Helldive (9) is easier than Sewer-cide (7), just due to ending up with more careful & cooperative teammates.
@@kathrynck I switch often between 7-9 on bots depending on if I wana get partially raped 6 ways to sunday... otherwise it's 9. Even the new Bot mission is CONSIDERABLY less difficult on 7 vs 9. But yes, people who play 9 play to do it right. Like your commandos lol Running into lvl 50s+ on 5 or below is a farmer or helping the lowers.
All Automatons have been purged from the galactic map. Good work, soldiers! But now imagine... After an entire week of no bots, suddenly a report comes in. Apparently they've managed to intercept an unknown encrypted signal from a planet way below the galactic map. Seems that some stragglers managed to flee from their absolute destruction. Well, no matter, do as you always do, Helldiver, go to that planet, and exterminate the bots once and for all. But, when you do arrive. Everything is so... quiet. No bots in sight, but that's nothing out of the ordinary, especially depending where you dropped. But then, as you traverse the lands, you are met with a curiosity... scraps litter the ground. Not just any metal scrap, but Automaton scrap. Lights off, unmoving, destroyed. You then arrive at a base, and find it completely wrecked as well. Was this the remains of previous Helldiver incursions? No, that can't be, you're one of the very first few who just arrived, there shouldn't be any battle markings at all. Yet, here they are. A pile of bots scattered about, from the smallest to the biggest, a Factory Strider was even sliced in half. None of your weapons could do that. Suddenly, a blast! A shot. Several high speed projectiles started peppering your location! You dive to cover, as does your fellows save for one with their head blown completely off. Streaks of blue was upon you! It was a trap... The signal, the planet, the Automaton remains. It was all a trap! A trap springing to life swiftly, effectively, mercilessly. You look up to the skies to your battleship, waiting for reinforcement, for orbital support, for hope... Hope turned to despair. Despair turned to rage. And rage into unbridled fury. Your eyes widen to find a shadow unmasking itself, facing your beloved vessel, guns pointed directly at its broadside... *_The Illuminate has entered the war._*

I can't speak for them, but personally I'm slightly disappointed with the damage on hard targets with the grenade launcher. Understandable on armored areas, but it oughta do a bit more on the weakspots. But "game balance"... I get it. Only other thing I can think of, is that the aiming is a little bit overly wobbly, and in reality, it's actually lighter weapons which are trickier to aim accurately (mass, inertia, etc).
