It still drives me crazy that we don’t have a rocksteady Superman game because personally for me a Superman game under rocksteady flying around metropolis using his powers would’ve been really awesome and tons of fun in my opinion.

A company that discriminates against people. The company that sells this game. It is "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League - Deluxe Edition" and its sale is not allowed in my country. Guys, what kind of platform is this? What does it mean to distinguish people? Game is a means of entertainment. Why did you restrict children's access to games? I've seen companies go bankrupt. and I've seen companies rising. Those who rise are those who serve without discriminating against anyone. By doing this, by separating people, their name gradually disappears. Give up this wrong practice. Putting obstacles in the world's children and the game world will not gain you anything, it will only make you lose..
Also when I learned that the game was not good and not worth buying. I said, "I'm glad I didn't buy this game." My only regret is that, as a human being, the sale of this game has been blocked in my country, which makes me feel very bad. Imagine that you can buy games on a platform. When you want to buy this game, it says that the game is not available for sale in your country. Imagine if such a situation happened to you. Even though I have no bad intentions, I'm just an innocent game enthusiast. Isn't this unfair?

Build a on the surface live service system and than sell for a profit and get out of the video game industry which is losing everyone money atm with costs of making games being ridiculous. So WB wants out. They've wanted out for a while now, and they're long term plan is to sell their studio and let someone else deal with game making whilst they'd get royalties of course because they own the properties still. Does that suck for consumers who would like to see good SP DC games? Absolutely. But that's more a reflection on the state of the gaming market atm than on David personally. WB is already in talks of turning Hogwarts Legacy into a live-service game for the sequel. The game is already being eyed down, as I’ve heard & being considered with that attempting approach. They are their own downfall, such a greedy company. I hope people wake up, and put their foot down that this isn’t what majority of us gamers want in these games.
WB Games just gave me all the good reasons to skip EVERYTHING they are going to make in the future. This just shows how lacking their research skills are. How come Marvel's Avengers, the Suicide Squad gameplay feedback and Spider-Man franchise destroying records weren't enough for them to acknowledge nobody wants live-service superhero garbage? Single player has ALWAYS been better than multiplayer.
The last good Batman game was Arkham Knight and the TRUE last good DC game in general was Injustice 2.

For me the worst part is that the movement and shooting actually looks pretty fun. If this were a 10-15 hour linear single player game it’s probably be good. But the fact they’re forcing in an open world, multiplayer, battle passes, loot that only serves to grind, a billion different currencies, and constant updates to keeps you playing for hundreds of hours kills any chance of that.
That intro 😂. I am definitely interested in the story, since it’s set in the Arkhamverse (Arkham City is in my top 5 games of all time) and Harley and Deadshot look fun to play but it’s everything else I am concerned about. The live service and that Rocksteady have made their open world lifeless once again, with no civilians, only Brainiac’s goons. Plus, the fact that it’s online only, even if you play solo with AI bots for your companions, is stupid.
It really is a shame because DC has so much potential to make bangers with a lot characters in the roster they could make games for besides just Batman, we could've got a rocksteady Superman game after the Arkham series but instead WB makes them work on a live service suicide squad game nobody asked for. They could've learned from Spider-man 2 or their own game released this year called Hogwarts legacy but it looks like WB doesn't want good money. 🤷♂
They will learn soon when these games fail

Guardians of the galaxy was a looter shooter 🤷♂️ and it was good. Problem is nobody gave it a chance at first after avengers, not until it was too late and the game did bad financially and it’s why we don’t have a sequel
@@morris01 it was great. I don’t think it qualifies as a looter shooter though. Looter shooters almost always involve a gear-based progression system (which I hate with every fiber of my being) which Guardians didn’t have. Looter shooters can have good combat, it’s just that Avengers and (somewhat)Gotham Knights had really bad and repetitive combat. It was such a chore to progress through both of those games because of how grindy the progression was, and how unrewarding the combat felt. Guardians was awesome all around though. Hopefully Suicide Squad will follow in its footsteps

This games traversal looks good but the combat looks terrible, the opposite of the avengers.

A very wait and see experience. I think the game will be decent gameplay wise. The worst that can happen is being too heavy on the shooting looter aspect.
The reason games like this exist is honestly something you have to blame the modern gamer for. I know company's are the easy ones to blame, (and yea I completely agree) but I can't put 100% fault on the company's or devs. It's the success of games like Fortnite, PUBG,etc that bring in the large bucks over time. When there was a boom for single player offline games, some gamers took that for granted, while other just couldn't be satisfied with what they got... always craving more and asking the devs to provide the content for free or paid dlc. Unfortunately devs are people to and they need to eat too, so when they came up with live service games to provide everything gamers wanted... people still complained. I get it I want a good Rockstedy game too, but until the consumers truly change and understand the true value of what they want and not buy into Major games like fortnite, 2k etc. This is what we'll get, so that they can bring home the bread, and satisfy the people that thus game targets..
Sorry for the long rant, but this problem is on both sides.

I think the biggest problem for people with these games is the story almost always suffers the game play loop is always repetitive and not fun after a couple hours that being said I think this one has a chance to fix those things just maybe

It’s one of those things that they just keep trying to push. I say boycott the whole thing because it worked with Shadow of War and if ppl stay strong, it will work with this too. The world looked so bland in the first trailers I saw, now it looks gorgeous. Its very important to have visual great environments to traverse in these open world games. Traversal looks very good and I combat looks ok for a shooter. This game is defiantly 100% going to be and do better than Gotham Knight . Might get it but I dont do ministrations, so would treat it as a single player. If I have to pay to beat the game I wouldn't get it

There seems to be melee finishes like in Spiderman. But in the Arkham Knight the combat is so much better, more animations

I wonder why they don’t give the 4 player co-op games a buy 1 get 1 deal, the biggest appeal is that you get together with 3 of you friends as the suicide squad and kill the justice league, if I were to buy the game, my friend would automatically get it as well because we are game sharing but then only two out of four of us get to play the game, so if they were to give a code to give to my friend, he would get the game for free and our other friend that he game shares with will too. It would be the best way to bring in people in my opinion. Because I know I won’t get the game if my friends don’t get it, so it will really encourage people to spend 70 dollars for it. Does this make sense chat or would they lose money doing this?
It Takes Two did it so you could experience the game with your friend, why can’t they start doing this with more co-op games that are more than 2 players ya know??
With this way all 4 of us could play the game but we don’t all have to spend tons of money to actually play it. I mean come on. I am getting this game for the story & for Kevin Conroy's final performance as batman however i have reservations with this game in regards to the live service elements plus the gameplay doesn't look great. Plus its silly that a character like Captain Boomerang who is famous for using Boomerangs as weapons is mainly using guns in this game 😅
live services based of single player projects can work as long as there a standalone expansion of an already existing complete single player package. gta 5 literally laid out the clear groundwork of how you do this thing you make an amazing full content single player experience and then use that map, gameplay, assests to then make a multiplayer live service experience for people to keep stay around for if they want to.
For example look at arkham knight Great single player game that rocksteady released now imagine if wb had just got Montreal to work on a arkham online mode that released the next year after knight it was canonically set after where they used the same Gotham map and playable characters from the base game but you have you and your friends play as robin, nightwing, catwoman and red hood in co-op together where you fight random crimes, and play co op tailored AR challenges and most wanted missions and tie up loose character and story threads together whilst ranking up a battle pass where you unlock some free and premium pass skins for those characters
Would of saved Montreal wasting years on Gotham knights, people would of actually been receptive to it as bonus content probably more so then the short Arkham episodes we got. It doesn’t need to be one or the other you don’t need to sabotage your single player experience and force in live service elements you could literally just do both as separate modes and experiences on the same game
I got an idea for a good rocksteady video game. How about a detective Gordon action game similar to the detective Gordon in the Gotham series that used to come on Fox. As he gets older, his daughter Oracle should be a part of his solo game to.

It just looks like if ubisoft got fortnite,destiny 2 and sunset overdrive and made it into one game but then also decided to use unreal engine 4 so then we also get a side order of shader compilation stutter, traversal stutter and poor cpu optimisation and a reliance on upscaling

The story has me interested. It looks fun, funny, energetic and thrilling. But the gameplay looks kinda basic. Especially the combat. My problem is would it feel incredibly repetitive after a while. Anyway if it is online only, it's a hell nah from me. Doesn't matter how good the story is. It's rocksteady so I have hope but let's see.

This game does not have to be a live service multi-player game to work. It can totally be like a fighting game where you take control of different characters depending on the chapter. We've already seen that most gamers hate live service already, so why make a game based on the most hated genre right now? It doesn't make any sense financially or otherwise.

Can’t lie the story elements make me interested and even the traversel look fun, but shooting at members of the justice league just seems uninteresting, this game looks like it wants to be Fortnite 🤦🏽♂️
