October 2024 Check how to set up a local account for Windows 1124H2

[Local account settings] Since Windows 11 (24H2) was released recently, we checked the methods for setting up local accounts that are valid as of August 2024.
Please note that this information is current as of the time of investigation and may change in the future.

1. Online initial setup
(Part 1)
1.1 Microsoft account authentication failure ([e-mail] and its variants) (Pro/home)

2. Offline initial setup (avoid with OOBE\BypassNRO) (Pro/home)
(Part 3)
1. Start command prompt with SHFT+F10 on the initial setup screen
2. Run OOBE\BypassNRO.cmd
3. Set up local account with offline sequence

3.1 Specify only online account requirement deletion
(Part 5)
3.2 Specify two options: delete online account requirement and create local account with the following name
4. Create local user with net command (Pro/home)

1. Start command prompt
2. Create local user with net command
net user orangemaker /add
net localgroup Administrators orangemaker /add
③Restart after setting the initial settings to the MS defaults
oobe\msoobe && shutdown /r
④Adjust user settings (netplwiz)
・Delete defaultuser0
・Reset user to Administrators privileges
⑤Delete user folder for defaultuser0
⑥Restart

4.2.Create a local user after logging in as Administrator with the net command
①Start command prompt
②Enable Administrator with the net command
net user Administrator /active:yes
③Restart after setting the initial settings to the MS defaults
oobe\msoobe && shutdown /r
④Add local account user (netplwiz)
・Add user
・Set Administrator privileges
・Delete defaultuser0
⑤Re-login with the added user
⑥Disable Administrator (netplwiz) ⑦ Restart
