It's incredibly unhelpful to tell beginning producers to mess with knobs and do a litany of random shit as part of the sound design process...
If you're experimenting and learning what the knobs do, there's nothing wrong with that, but understanding the purpose behind the knobs you're "messing" with will allow you to be much more intentional with what you do. Instead of "messing with knobs" and coming up with random crap you'll think more along the lines of, "Oh, a stabby bass sound would work really well here", and you'll know EXACTLY what to tweak to get to that stabby bass sound that you're imagining in your head.
I guess my overall point is that the 1 minute you spent watching this short would be better spent on 1 minute of tutorials about the sampler plugin, and how everything ACTUALLY works. This short is almost entirely a waste of time and I appreciate that the guy is trying to make content for people but the producing community really doesn't need more people telling newcomers to "just turn random knobs and stuff"
