I have watched a ton of stretchy bracelet tutorials lately, and this was the first one that shows how to make your own needle 💡also super easy to follow along and see what you are doing! This is great! Thanks so much! 🙏😁
I bought the Opelon cord because of this video and boy am I glad I did. I have always used the Stretch Magic and was never thrilled with it. You have changed the way I make stretch bracelets and I thank you!!
This is the best bracelet tutorial by far!! Your instructions are easy to follow. Not a lot of unnecessary talking and no horrible music, and no fast forwarding. Thank you.💯
I have collected so many stretch bracelets recently I needed to learn how to make my own so I could fix them! I agree with the other comments that this video is so easy to follow and gives the best way to make a hidden knot, thank you!!
This was so amazing! Thanks for sharing! I had given up on the simple elastic bracelets mainly because I would hide it with a crimp bead and glue it, only to have customers return it for me to fix as it fell apart. I love this new method. I hope it holds up.
This was amazing, thank you soooo much!!! My beads elastic was broken and I haven't been able to get it repaired but now, I'll never have to worry about repairing them. Your calm, soothing explanation really helps! Again, thanks!
This is awesome. I watched another video and was a little worried because I didn't have a beading needle. I didn't think to make one! Thankfully, I have 26 gauge wire. Thank you!
This is fantastic! I made my first bracelets last night for my friends. I had a heckuva time tying them so they would stay. The night was so big that I couldn’t hide it. Also, I am blind in my right eye so my depth perception is very bad. It takes me longer, but I enjoy doing it. Thank you for the needle tip. I’m gonna go make a bracelet now.❤
Best tutorial yet! You just saved me hours upon hours! Thanks so much! I just want to ask, if you have noticed if certain types of glue break your string down over time? ❤ thank you for your time and creations ♡♡
I love it! This is one of the big things holding me back from going from hobby to hopefully selling! Thank you so much! Now I just have to learn how to do other stuff too!
Thank you so much for this video! I was using stretch magic for my small business but I have been finding the cording dries out and breaks. After finding this video, I order the Opelon and like is so much more! Thank you again!
This was a great tutorial! I am new to making a stretchy bracelet and was just looking for a way to tie the stretchy elastic so it would hold. I got so much more that will make the whole bracelet much better. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this tutorial very easy to follow. I was having so much trouble keeping my elastic cord from breaking thank you so much for sharing your tutorial.
thank you, i couldn't find the name of the string your using till i watched this video. i usually use stretch magic but i don't like that i need a big hole bead in each design to hide the knot. this method should help me with my beaded bracelet designs
I love this video. I used the cement to glue and hide the bead however it causes the two beads to stick together. What are your thought on krazy glue? It dries quickly and my beads are sticking together.
HI Jennifer - thanks for watching my video. I never use crazy glue as it dries too brittle and can actually crack the elastic cording. The GS Hypo cement is made for gluing fibers. It may seem, by using the hypo cement that your beads are glued together, but they will not remain so. Just give the cord a little pull next to the beads and they will separate. I often do this about 10 minutes after I glue the item - then check it an hour or so later. If there is any residue from the glue on the bead, you should be able to peel it off - or, overtime, it will disappear on its own. I hope this helps! Dawn
very nice, is it also save just to use the 1 chord method with the stretch magic or is the double chord always better for commercial shops? Thank you very much
Thank you for this video. I also use the Opelon stretch fiber and double it but never thought to pull the loop through when I knot. I've been using small bails to add charms and hide the knots but this looks great too. Will try over the weekend.
Thanks for the video.. I was using the beadsmith board and the measurements are off on the inches. I see your using an actual ruler. I am new to beading and had to redo bracelets because inches are off on the board.
I have bought all kind of stretch cord, beadalon elasticity which is 0.8mm, then diy clear stretch cord .8 mmm then i have stretch magic 1.5mm and now I see yours. I am so confused about what size mm I should use. I probably have more in my stash but i was wondering can I use any of these because i am starting to spend a lot on money on stretch cord clear and would like to use what I have. Can you give me some idea if the ones I have are good to use. I know the one you use is most preferred but please let me know. Thanks. I have to finish watching your video. Nor
The diameter of the stretch cord depends upon the hole size of the beads. YOu alwarys want to use the thickest cord that you can that will fit in the bead hole. In my tool box, I have the following sizes: .5mm (for pearls and tiny beads) .7mm flat cording ( for use when doubling the cord like in this video), .7mm round (again - for small hole beads that can fit a cord larger than .5mm). 1mm (I like to use this when I have either a bail or large hole to hide the knot in), 1.5mm and 1.8mm rounds (for use with large hole wood and large hole gemstone beads and for heavy beads). Sorry I took so long to answer, but I hope you find this helpful!
If your bead hole is too small, the knot may not chase inside. You can either try to make a larger hole in one of the beads with a bead reamer and hide the knot there - or, if you are using a charm, hand it from a bail with a large hole and hide the knot in the bail

Wow u r great u made a needle w a cooper wire lol
Great tips!!
Thank you for the tutorial ! :)
Hi! I’m using a 4mm bead. How do I get the knot to be hidden?!
If your bead hole is too small, the knot may not chase inside. You can either try to make a larger hole in one of the beads with a bead reamer and hide the knot there - or, if you are using a charm, hand it from a bail with a large hole and hide the knot in the bail
Thanks
Love it !
Thank you so much! So helpful!💜
