For a good deep dish pizza try out the Motor City Pizza Co. brand pizza. They are at most Walmart and Costco etc. Detroit style, really good.
I hope they're better than Walmart pizzas, you know the big giant ones? They SUUUUUUCK. No flavor, bland, bland, BLAND. And the toppings even taste spoiled. I'll NEVER get one again.
Grandma was right. Good things do happen to those that wait! 😉 For the crust, (all frozen pizzas) I wrap the edges in foil with a bit of water, so the crust won't get so hard and burnt through the baking process. This helps with getting a good chewy crust as opposed to a hard burnt crust that breaks your teeth. lol Whatever frozen pizza ya get, always make sure that you have Mozzarella or whatever cheese you like in your fridge so you can add it to your pizza! Frozen pizzas always need more cheese! 🧀😋haha Great review, Tony! Thanks!

Too many frozen pizzas and meals bumped up their temperature to 400 degrees several years ago. They should have kept the temp at 375, even though it takes longer. The toppings and crust are less likely to dry out or burn. It helps to check your oven temperature with an oven thermometer as well. It can be off by up to 50 degrees. To improve the flavor, add a drizzle of olive oil before the pizza is baked, a trick used in pizzerias.
Tried a Red Baron mini today and was very impressed. 375 degrees is a good temp setting

I always cook mine for 5 to 7 mins less. Red barons times are always off lol. I had the ultimate pepperoni one, and it had spices on crust. Also they're almost $9 here in CA

Red Barron used to be good, now it's garbage. Same for Tombstone. The only frozen pizza I buy is Screamin' Sicilian.

Times. And final cook with oven slightly open to breathe. I have a genuine pizzza oven. I’ll prob post a review on how I do it
I agree with you, this pizza is BLAAAAAANNNNDDD. I bought a couple of them last week. Already ate one. So tonight I'm spicing it up a bit with jalapeno peppers, some cheddar cheese, salt and pepper, plus some melted butter painted along the crust edge. It's in the oven now. I'm also going to sprinkle it liberally with parmesan cheese after it comes out. Maybe... just maybe, it'll be better than that first bland experience. Shame. Red Baron is usually a halfway decent frozen pizza. I mean they're no Freschetta or Paul Newman, but they're usually right up there with Tombstone at least. I'm never going to buy another one of these, though. You shouldn't have to doctor up a frozen pizza this much just to have some flavor.

That is kinda weird, usually you can use their box directions exactly. But you got it sorted.
There's a not zero chance I'd still eat the burnt pizza though. Had my fair share of burnt toast as a kid.

I made mine on the rack... Subtracted 5 min and watched it... Came out pretty good... Nice "crunch". And the sauce, pepperoni and sausage had flavor. Totally agree, the veggies lacked flavor. But still not a bad pizza... 6.5/10.

Did you leave the pizza in the freezer until the very last minute before putting it in the oven? It says not to let it thaw. That might be your problem with it being burnt. If you didn't let it thaw then your oven is just a beast I guess. HA! I enjoyed this video! Good work man!
I always wait right before I cook something to remove it from the freezer. That hasn't happened before on any other pizza. Not sure why it was cranky that day.

The mistake is…you gotta let it sit out for 2 hours….forget you made it…then happen upon it on top of the oven covered in foil. Forgotten and remembered room temp Baron is the TIGHTEST forgotten and remembered gem Americans have, this side of Greenland my male!
I just stay away from Red Baron I go with DiGiorno. Red Baron well it's just bland always has been. Of course I'm going to try it anyway! To add to it I've already tried it and the pepperoni is spicy hot not sure I've ever had a pizza with spicy hot pepperoni but anyway it was okay your review was spot on.
Maybe it would have turned out better if you used a pan instead of the stone??
Frozen pizza is usually terrible. There are a few exceptions, but this clearly isn't one of them. Too many toppings is usually a mistake on even the best pizza, because it makes it very difficult to get a nice crispy crust without blasting the cheese into oblivion.
However, for what it's worth, everyone oven is a little different, and the temperatures are VERY approximate. Even so, needing a friggin' PIZZA STONE for a frozen pizza is ridiculous. Forget it! Just order a good pizza!

I came here because I just tried one. Not trying to be totally negative, but this was one of the worst frozen pizza's I've had. It was like it was on a corn bread crust. I feel your review was well thought out and accurate

Yeah thats why I came to look up reviews. Was hoping to find someone who found a way to make the crust less crisp and then I think it would be good.
Yet the box clearly recommends cooking on a pizza pan.
I don't like my pizza crunchy. I like it like mild not too soft or hard. With a little tangy chesee and sauce
I bought one here in Buffalo New York I was excited but there is just something so strange tasting about that crust and the cheese I don't know I didn't like just one at all

I'll stick with Totino's Party Pizzas for frozen pizzas. At least those are cheap. Can't beat a 4 pack for $5 (give or take). I've never had a frozen pizza that tastes anything like one made in a restaurant, even the $5 ones from Little Caesars. Those are quite good for the price. A $6.79 frozen pizza from the store isn't. A "low meh" or lower is par for all frozen pizzas.

Damn what a shame. Red Baron usually does a good job with their pizza's. I get their thin crust all the time and i always use my aluminum pan instead of going directly on the rack. Thanks for sharing!
I get the Red Baron thin deluxe all the time and we love it. When the store is out we have to get the thin supreme and imo it is just okay. Just recently tried this fully loaded supreme and my family Really liked it. I know this has been out for a little while but if you havent tried it you should. It is a Chicago style crust so the crust should be darker than the second one he made.

You paid $6.79 a year ago. Here in central California on June 26, 2023 that pizza is $11.99 😮 that's the discount price. Regularly it's $12.99 😮😮 I'm not paying that.

This was the absolute worst pizza I have ever tried! Don't waste your money!
This was the most boring and soulless pizza I've ever eaten. There was 0 flavor, no tomato sauce, the cheese ducked and was gooey. The bread was spongey and bland as hell. Not even the pepperonis could've saved this "pizza". Never buying again
