People give quick honest answers when they're in pain to get it out. It provokes them to give honest answers since they are too focused on the pain as opposed to filtering their response.
Sean has mad hookups in the industry and with rappers and actors. People are starting to recognize him more, respect his performance, etc. I bet he gets invited to dope parties too because he's so likeable and harmless. Megastars love hanging out with lesser stars because they can be normal at a party but aren't nobodies.

I've been watching since one of the early seasons, the Terry Crews episode actually is where I found this show. (I was on a Terry Crews Old Spice binge so RUclips was like 'hey, check this out!') I have long since learned that it doesn't matter who the person Sean is interviewing is, if I know them or not, etc. I know this will be a quality interview done with class and not just the usual talk show fluff so many interviewers go with. This show seems to make everyone that gets interviewed super introspective and thoughtful, and never fails to impress.
There was a dramatic difference in Big Sean’s vibe by the end of this interview! His energy increased, he was more comfortable, and that is the beauty of Hot Ones.
