the strangers unmasking themselves before killing them both was to symbolize that no matter what, they were set on killing them. they begged for their lives prior & added that they hadn’t seen their faces but the strangers didn’t care because they were gonna kill them, so they gave them the “satisfaction” in knowing who their killers were.
Doesn’t really make sense because she lived in the end, I’m guessing they wanted someone to tell their story and to put fear into people. That’s the only thing I can think of

Love this movie it’s a lot scarier cause it’s psychological horror. They could have killed them like 20 different times but instead they played with their heads before they killed them. And also the reason why they did it, “because you were home” like you gotta be super bored and crazy to be doing all that.
The "true events" aren't as true as you think. 1. The couple isn't real. 2. This is still to this day the scariest movie I’ve ever seen simply because it can happen to anyone. “Because you were home” is one of the most chilling lines delivered in a horror movie. There was no motive other than they wanted to kill. Paranormal things, monsters and slashers are all scary, but real people can be the most terrifying creatures as this movie proves. I really have to be in the right state of mind to throw this movie on.
Well like you said “real ppl being the most terrifying “ has an unfair advantage of being the “best” simply because it has REALlife to back it up. But this movie is obviously inspired by older classic horror films like SCREAM and WHEN A STRANGER CALLS..things that can all happen in real life. Still I e heard stories of horror films with fictional creatures that still made ppl paranoid in real life.
"this is the part where he's gonna tell her he's gay" have me laughing because you seem so much more interested in that story rather than the one that we got 😂😂😂
This was the movie that made me realize as a child....that there are foolish people who open their doors to strangers at 4am in the morning. And that I gotta avoid those people in life...The second movie with the family is even creepier.
The fact that they DIDN’T know them is the worst part…they just did it for the fun and they never found the real killers.i felt so bad for them but you made this movie a little better billy
Billy, so few channels understand the purpose of the premiere function. I don’t know if this is an intentional decision or not, but thank you for at the very least, subconsciously understanding the importance of _timing_ the premiere. I see people who post an upcoming premiere or scheduled live sometimes days in advance! It blows my mind! Days?! By the time that comes around, that’s going to be so damn far down in peoples feeds no one is going to remember! At the most, the upcoming premieres or scheduled live’s should go up an hour before they drop. Ideally, 30 minutes. That way, people see it, see they have time to finish doing what they’re doing or go run a quick errand so they can come back while it’s fresh on their mind and watch. If you do this just because of procrastination, then don’t cop to it lmao. Pretend like you’ve mastered the art of algorithm lol
Honestly, I get why a week before is too long for a premiere, but just a half hour or hour doesn't work for me with an erratic work schedule. A day or so before is good.
Thank you for this comment! Im just starting to do "for the first time videos" myself so I didn't really see the importance of "Premiere" but after that explanation I can see it now!!
The days before thing drive me absolutely nuts!! Because when I see a video "posted" I get excited thinking it's available at that specific time. lots of places with well water (especially rural areas, like it looks like they're at) can have a bit of sediment when you first turn on the pipes. treatment & filtration systems are much better now, but i know when i was a kid & visited my grandma, who lived in the mountains, she just told us to make sure the water ran clear first before we used it for a shower or a bath, to wash the sediment away & allow the filtered water to come through.
I've seen this movie twice, once many many years ago and the second was watching your video. We rented this movie and my sister and I watched it, after we got done watching it I put it back in the case and the very next day returned. You should watch the Greatest Showman!!! Now I don’t know if you are a musical fan, even if not, the songs are incredible!!!!!!! It has Hugh Jackman, Zendaya, Zac Effron, etc. It’s rlly great! 😊😊💕

Bro LOVE your reaction!! !! You GOTTA Keep doing HORROR!!!! This movie is in my top 10 FR!! It's so chilling!
This might not make sense but I want a movie that’s like the reverse of this I want a crazy killing family to pretend to be a normal family on vacation and then some people being dumb try to make a full plan to kill them and the killing family legit letting get away with all this hella crazy scary things to see how the people do just for the family to switch it around and they become the hunters I’m sure I could have explained it better but this the best I could put it into words but I feel like that would be a hella cool movie theme I hope someone does it
😂😂😂😂
Great video Billy🔥The Strangers is one of the greatest home invasion films 💯
My friends tried watching this and I left before the movie started. Let’s see if I can get through this

I've never seen or heard about this movie either. Watching it for the first time with you, Billy. Amazing reaction like always. 👌🏼😁
Love watching you speculate on horror movies. You ha e scene enough now to call what's gunna happen ❤❤
Tell me why the first time Billy reminded us to drink water I had my water bottle in hand ready to go unintentionally 😂
lots of places with well water (especially rural areas, like it looks like they're at) can have a bit of sediment when you first turn on the pipes. treatment & filtration systems are much better now, but i know when i was a kid & visited my grandma, who lived in the mountains, she just told us to make sure the water ran clear first before we used it for a shower or a bath, to wash the sediment away & allow the filtered water to come through.
Favorite movie of all time!!!! Thanks for reacting billy 😁
I've seen this movie twice, once many many years ago and the second was watching your video. We rented this movie and my sister and I watched it, after we got done watching it I put it back in the case and the very next day returned. I have never returned a movie as fast as that, not even when the movie was terrible. lol
This is the only movie that has really scared my uncle.
I knew you’d clap after the accidental shot at Mike 😂 but seriously, poor Mike.
The Addams family & The Addams Family Values #bingers. I thinks it’s about time you watch them 💯
I first watched this film when I was like 14, and it scared the hell out of me. I've always been an avid horror watcher.
Mannnn this movie made me mad because of the lack of awareness for sure but it creeped me out too 😂😂😂
