I find it weird that there's the assumption that SO MANY people would choose to murder on the purge day when ALL crime is legal. I'd spend all year planning the biggest bank heist in history 😅😅

@@darieandennison2635 if you watched The Purge: Election Year you’d see that there’s military in front of banks and government buildings who shoot anyone who even tries to get near the premises with snipers. Plus I don’t think the government is dumb enough to leave all of the countries money just sitting in the bank on the most dangerous night of the year. They probably transfer it somewhere so you’d be doing all that planning for nothing. Everyone in America would be in debt and homeless if that were the case and then no one would be able to pay the government taxes or pay any rent lmao.
Every big companied store would also have extensive security in front and nearby it so planning on robbing anyone would be pointless and you’d get killed by simply just attempting. Plus if you’re a woman, I’d suggest not being out on the streets on purge night at all, that’s when all the r*pists would be out.
Imagine if this event happened on a Saturday and the people that participated in it get up in the morning to go to church like nothing happened. NAH, the only thing the purge would do is reveal how mentally unstable the people around me are.

The purge would be a terrible idea, because once the criminals leave jail the crime level will be so huge after the purge, that Batman needed back up to bring them justice.

We definitely need a billy watched Power ranger intros and ranks them. I thought the mystic force intro was one of the best. Also all of the purges were made well but their storylines differ in whether it’s good or not. Hope you get to all of them. ❤

I don't know why people would target the homeless or unprotected in these scenarios. Wouldn't everyone go after bosses, politicians, banks? Like, do you know how rich I'd be, the day after the purge? 😂😅
The intent of the purge is unfortunately to target exactly those people. Society is not purging it's darkest impulses or for their personal needs, it's purging perceived strains on society. its just easier to make palatable if you say its All crime instead of open season on the homeless, the poor, minorities, the lower classes, etc. Watch The First Purge if you havent yet.
Also, certain government officials are exempt form Purge night (tho this appears to have changed late in the franchise in the year 2040) and while they could ofc still be murdered, the person doing the killing coudl still be charged as it is still considered against the few rules of Purge Night, so its basically only rich people vs normal folks.
Edit: Also as we see here, typically the wealthier they are, the better protected they are, once again leaving only the disadvantaged as possible targets.
this would be a terrible idea because of the fact that there are a lot of freaky frogs out here and nowadays these ppl cannot control themselves and imagine what those same ppl would do within these 12 hours.

Here’s an unsolicited lesson in self-awareness:
Your entire first sentence was passive-aggressive and manipulative. “Do you *actually* respond?” is the passive-aggressive part, if he responds it’s only because you’ve tried to make him feel bad if he doesn’t. And the “we gon find out” is the second manipulative part, because you’re trying to goad him into a response by challenging his ego and make him feel like he has to to prove you right.
Neither will work. I’ve been watching Billy long enough to know he’d read “We gon find out,” immediately be like “nope” and keep scrolling, cuz he’d see it as you trying to challenge him and he won’t accept. Following a manipulative statement with how much you love someone is even worse, because you’re showering him with praise right after saying “I bet you won’t respond to this” like… do you want him to respond because you said something nice about him or because you tried to make him feel guilty out the gate? And no I don’t have anything better to do besides help an internet stranger become more self-aware.
