Alisha Weir did a fantastic job in this movie. Once she dropped the act, Abigail really did feel like a much older character. In some ways, it kind of echoed Kirsten Dunst in the latter half of Interview with the Vampire, and how she sold the persona of someone who'd lived for centuries (decades in Kirsten's case) trapped in the body of a child. Also, it'd be so cool to see Kathryn Newton play an evil character like this in another movie, because even that short segment of the movie was really well done.

At the start of the video when you said you were going in blind, I thought like somehow you knew that Abigail was a vampire and you were just playing a joke or something, but by your reaction whenever she reveals herself as a vampire you genuinely didn’t know. That had to be such a great feeling to like go in blind, not knowing anything and then when she reveals herself as a vampire because you can never go into the movies blind anymore because they always spoil it for you in the trailers. I would’ve loved to have gone into this movie blind and not knowing because the way that they revealed that Abigail was a vampire in the trailer. I’m like do you know how much of an amazing reveal that would’ve been in the theater with a huge audience. At any rate your reaction to her, revealing herself at a vampire was amazing.
Honestly, I feel like he already knew, and that's why his reactions seemed a little bit over dramatic to me because he was trying to act like he didn't know. When you go to rent the movie, you see a picture of Abigail with blood on her mouth, exposing sharp teeth. Even if you didn't think vampire right away, you definitely would not think innocent little girl.

She also wasn’t fully turned like Frank was (As we saw in the previous scene him and Lambert, there seems to be a bit more involved with becoming a full fledged vampire with your own will an all of that, such as the part where he vomited up all of his blood and what not. Joey’s situation was that of Sammy’s, in which you’re in more of a “vampire limbo” kinda place and are more like a “vampire puppet” in which you still have all of the strength (and weaknesses) of a vampire BUT you’re also being mind controlled by whoever turned you. In that situation it seems like people are turned into vamps solely to do their “sire’s” (I only know some of this lingo due to being a huge Buffy fan. LOL.) bidding and are intended to die sooner rather than later. Also, Abigail doesn’t have any sort of “change of heart” when it comes to her teaming up with Joey at the end. Their whole matchup is born from necessity due to Abigail being so weak after Frank’s first attack on her. (She even says as much right when you were questioning why it was happening. LOL.) I feel like this is one of those movies where you really have to pay attention to specific scenes and plot points, as well as read between the lines quite a bit. Which, as fun as it is overall, makes it a pretty tough watch for most reactors. Though I’d say that you did a pretty decent job with that overall. Oh, and I actually *love* this movie. LOL. It just so happens to be _right_ up my alley as I greatly enjoy horror films with a nice, healthy dose of humor injected into them, which this _very much_ is. I also love the fact that it has such a WILD freaking premise. For me the whole damn movie is just _incredibly_ fun! I also _really_ like all of the actors in it and I feel that they all did a _terrific_ job! (Alisha Weir, Abigail, in particular was phenomenal!) _And_ I’ve loved everything that I’ve seen from the directors, Radio Silence, thus far. (Ready Or Not, Scream 5, Scream 6, and, now, Abigail. Obvs. LOL.) I actually also quite enjoyed the 3rd act of this film. I can kinda see why others aren’t as into it as I am _but_ I _really_ liked the antagonist and protagonist switch up. I def think it was a good call and that it all played out well, especially because we still got our “final girl”, Joey, surviving/escaping AS WELL AS Abigail, who is arguably a pretty good villain to root for, _also_ making it out alive. Haha didnt expect you to react to this!! This video was so fun!! Also, the reason why her bite didnt matter at the end is because the guy who bit her exploded after being staked in the chest. Basically, biting someone allows them to use a person as a puppet, you have to give them vampire blood for them to be a full vampire and not a puppet. Since the guy hadnt " learned the cool shit" and didnt know how to use her as a puppet, the effects of the bite were nothing after he died .

Haha didnt expect you to react to this!! This video was so fun!! Also, the reason why her bite didnt matter at the end is because the guy who bit her exploded after being staked in the chest. Basically, biting someone allows them to use a person as a puppet, you have to give them vampire blood for them to be a full vampire and not a puppet. Since the guy hadnt " learned the cool shit" and didnt know how to use her as a puppet, the effects of the bite were nothing after he died .

This movie was so good, I wish it wasn't all revealed in the trailer. I never read the novel so I wouldn't have had a clue. Also Billy is hilarious "He doesn't look like he's an expert at reading either."
