the reason why the strangers is so scary for me is because it’s a horror scenario that’s most likely to happen. no supernatural stuff, just straight up home invasion and murder, which will make anyone fear the living more than the dead.

I actually watched this in a Small Theater in Oregon. Only 3 of us were in there watching.
I was surprised there was an elderly woman watching this film. I thought "well she must really Enjoy horror films even at her age"
When they started catching more bodies all we heard in the theater was "OH, No - OH, No" she got up and was scrambling to get out of the theater. She wasn't able to really move that fast but she headed out. It was odd.
We later found out that she was only watching the movie because she thought it would be a nice Film because she heard that it took place in Oregon so she went to show her support. But when the bodies started dropping she realized this was not for her. 😂😂😂😂

This mess scared me so bad!! I was yelling at girlie when she was laying in the leaves. Keep your butt there until the sun comes up!!! And I love cabins in the woods but I ain't answering no knocks on no doors. And be nice to folks in little towns cuz they are different.

This movie made me have nightmares for twos days I was scared yes but mostly mad I was so mad I kept having nightmares thinking of different stuff when I go to sleep but binge watching your videos made it better *a bit*

So this is what I read about chapter 1 : The film's director, Renny Harlin, has said that the film is not based on a true story, but that he drew inspiration from a series of break-in burglaries that took place in his neighborhood when he was growing up. He also said that he borrowed elements from the Manson Family Tate murders

I Watched this movie in theaters and the way I got mad at them is crazy. When the truck ran into them and he asked her to run which she did........why did he not hop in the truck that hit him and drive off. Its every man for themselves at that point.
Oregonian here! First off, good work saying it right and oh yes! Oregon can have some weirdos but most of the weirdos like in this movie are IN Portland! Just kidding but Portland is more of the weirdest places in Oregon.

This a reboot of the Strangers franchise. There are 3 movies, or 3 parts to the new series. They filmed all of them at once, so they should all be released no matter how they do.
