You should go with road 6’s if you’re not doing aggressive riding on twisty roads. Better traction on wet conditions, more life and still plenty of grip for aggressive riding on twisty roads but you’re in Florida so I doubt you’ll be doing that
Great Vid Andrew, it will be interesting to see how much longevity those tyres have got. So far I've got through the stock tyres, a set of expensive Metzelers and now I'm on some fairly cheap Pirelli Angel STs. You can't beat a fresh set of tyres 😀
Question. I just got my z900 with stock tires and they have slipped a few times in the first 100 miles. This is just commuting on city streets. Is that the tires just being new? Or should I upgrade the tires?
@@aaroneverett296 tires are always slick when new cause there's still a mold release on the tire surface but you should be thru that by now atleast. A little trick people do is use sandpaper on the "chicken strip" portion. I have an old set of stock Dunlops on my sv1000s and I'm really mindful of the throttle around corners. I've still felt a little sketchy on these. I have a Florida flat spot but the cornering edges are almost new yet
This is an older video before I put the slip on exhaust on. But so far with a little over 1000 miles on the Michelin’s, I have no complaints. Especially compared to the factory Dunlop’s
Not quite....but closer than I would like haha. And the stock tires were okay out here in the desert. Warm and dry all the time, once the tires get warm they are usable. Just takes a little while to get them up to temp
What a beautiful place you live, my God, to ride those roads! Hello and best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
Great video! what pressures do you run normally?
is it 180/55 or 190/50 ?
These are amazing tires I live in Florida when it rains a lot and these things are awesome.

I’m hoping for 5-6k miles and I’ll be happy 🙌🏼

Thanks for the review👊. Have the same issue with my stock Z900 tyres, will definitely go check these out ASAP!
I never wanted to swap them before the stock ones were finished but it’s a big difference 👍🏼
Same issue with my stock tires.
What kind of mileage did you get out from it?
I am glad I watched this because I am planning on getting these for my 900rs. I feel the Dunlop's slip especially in the front.
Bro you won't be disappointed
Not trying to insult you but after you install your tires go through dirt enlightening back and forth on the street to take the wax off the tires.
How come you put the stock pipe back on? I been looking at these tires or the Bridgestone battlax t32 which are the sport touring tires.

What tank bag are you running?
It’s from Bilt, I’m pretty sure it’s the smallest one they offer. I got it at cycle gear for like $40
for the type of roads you travel, a pneumatic sport touring would perhaps be better
I’ll check them out but I gotta say I’m loving the Michelin’s 👍🏼
Never ever ride with different tyre makes front/rear 😢save a few bucks and spent the rest on a coffin
Nothing wrong with it. Did it on my old bike and now on my current bike. I have Michelin power gp front and a Dunlop q3+ rear.
A rag and some gasoline gets that film right off new tires
hehe tough guy, managed to drive em to cord :D oem tyres are pure shiiiiet. personally the next week thrown away from the bike after purchasing em

Mine looks like that, I too am a little ashamed. I wanted that Tesla's chuff. it cost me the tire. And I still didn't win.🙁
