    jody, I am a great great-grandma with ornaments from my childhood, 1936 . I have purchased both of your wonderful books. I purchased an aluminum tree at a yard sale for
    one dollar and had a pom-pom tree given to me free . I have learned so much from watching your videos. Makes Christmas decorating all the more fun!

      Thanks for being kind. I feature vintage ornament trees and cherished trees on my website booksbyjody.com. If you have Christmas tree photos that are special to you, I'd like to share them with others to preserve the time periods. Merry Christmas.

    Thanks Jody, my grandmother had one with red, green and gold Shiny Brite balls on it.
    With the color wheel shining on it, it was an amazing sight to me at that age (very futuristic)

    I was just there last week - my third year in a row. It’s definitely worth the hour and a half drive for me. The antique store down the road located in the old church had a box of Shiny Brite ornaments with 5, 10, and 19 cent caps, which you discussed in your last video.

    Hi Jody, I have a question maybe you can help me, I just purchased a Pom Pom aluminum tree, but have a smell like metal, do you have any suggestions how to get rid off that odor? Thanks

    • @jodypritzl8250
      @jodypritzl8250  5 месяцев назад

      Hi, I bought some 60s vintage wreaths that had an odor of being stored in a woodshed guarded by skunks. So, I put a couple of Bounce dryer sheets in the box with the wreaths for a week, at least they smelled 70% better. Good luck.
