- I've always seen the beautiful vintage aluminum christmas trees and thought of purchasing one. We saw one at an estate sale and thought, we could probably make one. So this is us making our tree as a family 🐈⬛🌲

I followed your example and made a silver one for myself using a 3 feet piece of dowel from a hobby store. I bough some 1mm solid wire (40 cm long) from a shop and 4 packs of silver tinsel (5 metres each pack) from Amazon. I had an old tree stand and tin foil for the trunk, glue and stuff. It has 49 branches (8 rings of 6 branches) and one for the top. The whole lot was around £20 or $25

I was wanting one but my pocketbook said no. Instantly thought hmm I can make that. And here you are teaching me how. Now to get my hands on everything I need to make this happen.

Now all you have to do is find some real vintage glass, Christmas ornaments and a rotating color wheel.
I have a pack of pink vintage ornaments. I had to make sure Teddy wasn’t going to climb the tree before I put them on. They are all safe 😊🩷
