Hope you guys enjoy this Vlog! We kept the editing really simple because we wanted you to feel like you’re here traveling with us! All the sights and sounds of Italy. ♥️🇮🇹
This was hands down one of your cutest videos! So authentic and true! You brought us back so many fond memories, thank you so much! Your place was incredible! It had a lot of stairs but the view was to die for. PS Next time around give a go to Panini Toscani near the Duomo and La strega nocciola for gelato if you can. Sending you our love dalla Grecia, Mirella e Panos!
Thanks for bringing back many of my fondest memories of Florence. I've visited there 3 times. I love, love, love, Italy 🇮🇹 and Florence is my favorite of all the cities.
You cannot imagine how wonderful it is for the majority of people watching this - you bringing us with you. Your constant filming in Italy is the BEST TREAT (for me as an Italian American). I was in Rome and Brindisi in 1992. Jessi, your tour guiding is wonderful. I love you guys. Alessio, do you have a brother, cousin, friend, uncle for me? ❤
@@ThePasinis Amore! You're adorable! Sixty here, never married, no baggage, full-blooded Italian American in Ohio/USA. "Acqua Della Regina" is available online, $100, but something tells me it would not be as fresh. I was sorry you were trekking around Florence with a sore ankle - especially to the top floor of the beautiful apartment - 🥴. The "baby Poop" comment was SO APPETIZING! ❤️😂🌹
@ThePasinis My number 1 dream is to visit Italy. Tomorrow is my 75th birthday, so I’m not sure if I’ll make it there. Wish I had gone when I was younger. Thank you for sharing! 😘❤️
My wife and I just love watching you and your videos. Two beautiful people in love and so natural in your presentations. You are indeed a joy to watch ❤
I can see why people are more fit and healthy, yes the quality of the food but man all the walking and stairs. I was exhausted just watching you two and I was sitting 😂 Beautiful place, beautiful views.
lol bro the italian guy just playing that girl... thats why he never had italian women cause they would throw him out when he gets cocaine and has no job... but he tells her he gets half the money on this page... even though she does all the stuff for edits... My wife and I will be in Italy in September 2023. We will start in Milan; then to Lugano Switzerland, then to Riva del Garda, then to Rome. It’s been 2 years, can’t wait. Thanks for all you do.
My wife, daughter & I spent a few days in Florence. It's a m a gical city. Also did a tour of Tuscany. Had some awesome food at a coop farm, world champion Gelato at San Giminano & saw the Leaning Tower in Pisa. Long day but worth every minute.
Have you guys ever considered doing guided tours? I would totally sign up! I would like to visit Italy but I don’t feel comfortable to traveling alone. Love your channel!
Italy is a hiraeth for me; a place I long for but have never been. I lilen it to the way religions people yearn for heaven. Thank you for sharing this beautiful land with us. I'll see you soon, Italia.
Arriving at a European city by high-speed rail is the way to go! That's the power of European engineering! The Duomo is quite impressive! The dome of the cathedral was built between 1420 and 1436 to a plan by Filippo Brunelleschi, and is still the largest masonry vault in the world. Such a structure had been planned since the 1300s, but the admirable innovation of Brunelleschi was to create it without reinforcements in wood, since none could have sustained a cupola of this size. Before Filippo, they had problems figuring out how to support the dome as there wasn't enough wood in Tuscany to construct centering to support the dome and so the design of the dome called for an ingenious solution. Brunelleschi had just the solution. He proposed building two domes instead of one, one nested inside the other. The inner dome was built with four horizontal stone and chain hoops which reinforced the octagonal dome and resisted the outward spreading force that is common to domes, eliminating the need for buttresses. The unprecedented building strategies didn't stop there! To construct the brick walls, Brunelleschi employed a novel herringbone pattern that allowed the brick to self-reinforce as it was being laid so that the bricks wouldn't fall off the wall as it became more inclined!
Absolutely fell in love with Florence when we visited Italy back in October. We flew into Florence so it was our first impression of Italy and we literally never wanted to leave. We had about four flights of stairs in our hotel lol so yeh they kill you After visiting Rome, Positano, Capri, Montepulciano, Pienza, and Naples we still absolutely loved Firenze!! Didn’t know about the hidden face at Piazza della Signora which was one of our favorite places! Will have to look for that next time. And yes there’s always room for gelato!
Jesse when I was in Florence we rented an apartment on the sixth floor we had to drag our luggage all the way up those stone steps and the light would go off in the stairways , ok had my knee wrapped in a tensor band . I lost 7 pounds in 1 week, I'll never complain since were so spoiled. The pain was worth seeing Florence ❤
Y'all need to do a video on Elizabeth and Robert Browning's house in Florence. It truly is worth it. I would give anything to see their house, I've taught college classes in their literature and it was so much a part of their artistry.
Dancing on the rooftoooooop omg melted my heart! Love the vibe of this video so much! What a treat to watch you guys meander, taste and explore somewhere I've never been! Healing prayers for your cute little ankle Jessi🥰
When I was in Florence I found it very easy to make friends with the locals. Incredibly nice and also very hard working. I love Florence and I think it’s important to stay at least 2 weeks if not a month. Watch the pick pockets!!!
We loved Firenze, I wish we had more time. I really enjoyed the market centrale. We saw the duomo and the tower, Michelangelo, and the church de San Lorenzo, etc. got some cappuccino and pastries. Molto Buono! Viva Leonardo Davinci
My heart belongs to Firenze. We were there Ford a week last Movember and I just coudn't get enough. I love Italia but feels like Firenze & Iseo are my ❤️
Omg! This was so fun to watch, and I love all of the fun facts you've provided like the story and location of devil's breath, the queen's perfume and the ancient pharmacy, Michael Angelo's etched art, and what gelatos and cannoli to buy and what to stay away from! I look forward to seeing more of these videos. I love them! ❤🎉🤗🥰

One time in Firenze, we were walking near Santa Maria Novella and it was around 7PM, our feet were sore and we were tired. There was a large restaurant I think called Salvatore or something like it. We went in, but of course, in Firenze, that is early for dinner and they hadn't begun the service yet. But they could see how tired we were, so they seated us and gave us an appetizer that was off the menu to hold us over until dinner began. It was a huge porcini head, fresh, as large as a portobello, sautéed in garlic. It is one of the best things we ever ate. Just one of many amazing stories of our travels in Italy.
Thank you for this whirlwind tour of Firenze! It brought me back to many of the places I have been (many times) during my time there. Even the sound of the ambulance siren made me smile! I so enjoyed living near there (I lived for a time in the neighbourhood of Novoli, which isn’t that fabulous, but I could walk to the parco delle Cascine, which was nice, but then I found an apartment outside of Signa, which was a quick train ride or drive to Florence). Lampradotto is my favourite panino of all time & I must say antico vinaio had exploded in popularity since I first visited it in 2011. I think the issue with the original is that there’s always a huge line. I’m sure the food is just as good. Tommy has done a good job with that place.
Woah. Bellissima. Right near the Duomo! Perfetto! Buon viaggio! I remember when I went to Firenze a long time ago and we stayed walking distance to the Duomo. It was SO COOL to walk over and turn a corner and see finally the beautiful church in person after studying about it in college for yrs

I was in Florence in June this year and went to Santa Maria Novella Profumoria and bought some lovely scents....Alessio get her the Aqua de Regina already. ❤❤❤❤❤ she is your queen after all.
Love this video. Planning a trip to Italy in the fall I found an apartment with a company called Mamo Florence that is a wonderful alternative to Airbnb or a hotel. All apartments have Moka pots. We are staying in a lovely, ground floor apartment a block away from Santa Croce. Our first evening in Florence we will definitely go to Finisterrae for dinner, it is so close to our apartment. Next morning grocery shopping at Sant' Ambrogio Market for fresh pasta and produce so that we will have coffee and breakfast and so can cook at least one meal in our apartment. And Vivoli gelato is close as well so I expect we will stop for an affogato on our way out in the morning. This will be my fourth trip to Italy, my dear friend has never been so I am looking forward to showing her all the wonderful things that I have grown to love about Florence and Venice.
When my fiancée and I first visited Florence, our Airbnb hosts recommended Gelateria dei Neri. It did not disappoint! It was our favorite gelato on our whole trip.

Bella Donnas! Jessi in that lovely emerald green dress and on the previous video; Alessio' s Nonna...stricking! Both younger and now!...and his mom as well!...seems to be a little resemblance with Jessi! Love when you give those nuggets of interesting info as well of your honest opinions... APROVED! BRAVO!👌💜💚💙
Another fun fact. The first day I was in Firenze I was searching for the Medici pallazo. Walked all over. Then took a break to sit down on a ledge. THAT WAS THE MEDICI PALAZZO!

That's exactly how it feels - like we're walking thru the streets of Italy with you!! I was thinking that as I watched .. The sandwiches look so yummy... The bread or focaccia (?) ...yum .😊
Oh wow! That is such an amazing view! I stayed in a place very close to the Duomo and had a great view, but not that fantastic and panoramic. I'm very jealous. How amazing to see that at night!
Watching this felt so peaceful to me. Thank you so much for showing all the details. It’s my dream to visit Italy but not sure if I’ll ever get to so I feel like at least I get to see it through your eyes.

Thank you, thank you - I have been to Florence but just realised we missed a sight and some really awesome foodie places AND THE BEST GELATO PLACE TO BUY!!!! Will have to return soon.
I really enjoyed this video. I have been to Rome and Capri but not to Florence. Grazie for sharing your experience in Florence. It was delightful. I don't know how Jessi survived the stairs with that ankle but was glad to see Alessio carry her up the stairs at least once.
The best tip for helping the "bathroom issue".....bring chia seeds with you, and add 1-2 Tbsp to a bottle of water and drink through the day! I usually have to do it with a couple of bottles and that's it!
I have been following you guys on tiktok forever and just happened to stumble upon your channel while planning a trip to Italy. Y'all are the cutest and I'm so excited to see you're doing travel videos too!
You guys are fun to watch and especially when you travel. It's like we're with you too! Oh...that sounds a bit weird but it's true. I hope you keep travelling like this. Inspiring and heart warming. Bellissimo!
I spent 3 hours in the Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella! It was truly one of the highlights of Florence for me. I am a photographer and the building was just such a beauty and then top it off with the history of the place and the smells!!! Divine!!! Thank you for including this piece of history in your video.

You guys are fun to watch and especially when you travel. It's like we're with you too! Oh...that sounds a bit weird but it's true. I hope you keep travelling like this. Inspiring and heart warming. Bellissimo!
IT pained me 🤌🤌🤌 to watch Jesse climb 110 steps 5 times....lol. ❤ Hope you feel better!!
😂 it definitely pained me too. I’m doing a bit better, but the stairs in Italy keep finding me!
@@ThePasinis Always ask if they have a lift 😅
She is 38 or 39...she is not 78..i suppose
Why should it be so difficult???
Because she has a sprained ankle!@@dianademonte5672
I love how Jessi is getting more and more fluent with the Italian language
What a beautiful Florence vlog! ❤
Grazie
I spent 3 hours in the Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella! It was truly one of the highlights of Florence for me. I am a photographer and the building was just such a beauty and then top it off with the history of the place and the smells!!! Divine!!! Thank you for including this piece of history in your video.
I’m so jealous of the place you’ve got to stay. I can’t do stairs due to my knee problem, so I can ONLY be envy, if I have to be technically correct.
Thank you both visiting my city..have the best of time and eat all the best food..!ciao
I love all Marvis toothpaste flavors. Not one bad flavor. It is always what I get when going to Europe. ❤😊
I love seeing how in love these two are, it's magical. Ps. one item will fix you within hours.... Prune Juice!
we eat prune juice a lot :)
Wow so beautiful and you both look so happy ❤️🤗
Grazie mille!
