this is exactly the video i was looking for a long a time...first to observe a longer riding experience second to see this exact travel destination bkk to pattaya. so....thx you so much for the upload.
What’s the reason for following towards Chon Buri when there are signs for Pattaya ? Great video, thank you, given me the motivation to do this trip :j
Very interesting video! I've been thinking about cycling the journey on a bicycle, it's a distance I can manage comfortably. Do you know if there is a quieter route by the coast?
I have spent many years riding scooters in and around PATTAYA mostly on hire scooters then on my own scooter .Lots of guys go over there and keep within a 1 mile radius of where they are staying and i didn't want that I used to ride twice a day from north Pataya up to Jompien and surrounds .A very nice Drive and if you learn to ride a scooter PROPERLY its very enjoyable Thanks for sharing
I ride my scooter (Nmax 155 Yamaha) from Khon Kean to Pattaya. Matter of a fact everywhere. Love it. People think I am crazy but it is a blast. I feel more safer riding in Thailand that Australia simply because in Thailand you just ride like the Thais do, it is so predictable. And you are so right DO NOT ASSUME and don't ride if you are going to get the shits because you will end up a nervous wreck. Just enjoy.
I HAVE BEEN RIDING SCOOTERS OVER THERE FOR YEARS AND THE Philippines FOR YEARS , now stuck in Australia because of this bullshit virus ,i just bought a scooter in ozzie i need a bit of fun and relaxation
I have ridden all over Thailand on large capacity motorcycles . Riding a scooter is not a problem but it would take a long time . Wear riding gloves , a long sleeve shirt helmet and long trousers. Definitely cover your face and writ posts with sun screen . When you park put the shells lock on and don’t leave valuables including your helmet on the bike .
Perfect. I've been wanting to look into this for a couple years. I don't live there so I'll have to rent. Any advise on where to rent? I'll have to learn to drive on the other side of the road but I've been riding all kinds of motorcycles for about 45 years.
@@AGMediaThailand used to be super cheap to hire in Pattaya about 3000bht month or better to get an ugly but good one then no one will steal the fucker hahaha
Enjoyed your video, commentary and road explanations. Your sound quality isn't that great and the overdubbed music made it even harder to hear. Don't think I'm brave enough to hazard Thai traffic but luckily transport is cheap and plentiful that wouldn't keep me from going anywhere. Will check out your other videos. Good luck with your channel, this is the first video of yours I've seen.

Thanks mate the video is very helpful and give a clear idea about how to drive scooter in Thailand, a lot of love from Iraq
Just came across this video. I rode from Pattaya to Poonsup market. Good stuff.
Great stuff. Just what I wanted to see. I'll be trying this next time I'm in Bangkok
👍👍
Great fun voyage…a similar journey to Chiang mai with step by step route maps would be awesome and very helpful too

Many places to rent in Bkk and pattaya for around 150 to 300tb per day. But be super careful.

Cheers, yes this was an early video, I will try and remake this story soon
Can you do a ride from bangkok to hua hin?
I am going to do next month. Rent scooter for 2 to 3 weeks
Yes i've done that too - but take the roads less travelled
Really surprised to see so many people riding against traffic. At 7:05 I really hope that part of the road is closed and closed off. 😲
No this was actually quiet, normally lot more bikes and even cars coming in wrong direction
Thanks for the advice . We are going to try it tomorrow
How did trip go
Very good
Hilarious man...😂

I have done it the only thing I would say is cover up and you will have a sore arse.
