Okay, for those of you who have never gone through Inflight Training: 1. This is a mashup of several videos. 2. The live "demo" is comprised either of trainees, or a group of inflight safety trainers who are doing a simulation and what is called a "drill" 3. They are preforming from an "Emergency Landing Checklist" this list is read from verbatim and covers all situations. 4. In a prepared emergency landing (thats what this video is - it is a prepared EL, hence the ELC cards) you will almost always brace. 5. A fire in the forward hold whether real or not, could present in forward landing gear failure if there is a real fire and it breached hydraulic lines or anything at all down there, the aircraft may likely A. Not Stop due to brake loss, or B. Gear failure/collapse. the BRACE commands are repetitive and necessary in case you end up i na situation. 6. the BRACE position places your body in the position it will be THROWN in, in a sudden deceleration, lessening the strain to your body parts. 7. YES, the video is FAKE because it is comprised of training videos. 8. NO This is not a 737/A320 it is a mockup cabin trainer. One I used recently had a widebody interior, and featured Airbus over wing exit windows, 767 door, 747 door, Airbus door. All in one cabin. This particular sim/cabin trainer has the doors and equipment of multiple AC types. 9. Repetition is necessary it is not a waste of time, it is to make sure ALL crewmembers are on the same page and took in the correct information. You don't want two crew in the front preparing for land, and two in the back preparing for water. PARROTING is a tried and true effective form of CRM (Crew Resource Management) 10. I have trained for THREE airlines in Canada. All three had different steps and different commands but all with the same end result, and although th verbal shouted commands were different for each airline, the landing checklist was almost identical.
Kieran player idk BUT OKAY Lo,l I know .. I flew for over 30 years. I also trained ...brings back awesome memories- it’s great fun on the slide rafts eh ! Crash and burn skill as we called it way back the . Reality is totally different to mock up..yet it’s great to know that theory and practical gives us security in the real emergency.
repeating a message three times, with a public safty issue, is never a waste of time, i am both paramedic and fire trianed and also ex instuctor, people are dumb, and unlike the one percent, 99 percent do not understand first time or second time, even aircrew go through months , or even maybe years of training and on going training
thumps up 🙌 to all the crew flight attendants . The training is always intense to be able to assist and help passenger it may sound exiting to be a flight attendant but alot responsibilities brings with this . always have a positive mind and learn all you can . if you're either a passenger or crew member always pay attention to your surroundings exits and instructions from the crew never know when you will need this. Great job Guys !!
8:21 if they aren’t traveling together why is the one sitting on the middle seat and not moving over to a window seat? If I were the aisle seat I would be pissed
This is the Lufthansa Flight Training A320 mockup for cabin training. You can tell by the seats and the livery. The model is simply wearing a generic uniform so it can be used by multiple airlines without any sort of specification.
ok, imagine if this was an a380 are they going to get all 32 members of the crew to repeat the same information, and at the start they taught you how to disarm the door of a a320 and in the scenario the cockpit and doors are of a b737, and why do the guys care how you are going to undo your harness
Oliver Pateras if the crew member is dead or incapacitated on impact then the passengers have been instructed on how to remove the crew member from their harness. They will block the exit and prevent others escaping if not. This training facility will represent various aircraft types. That's the point. It's for training.
Ollie Pateras When theirs is an emergency landing of let's say and A380 the lead Cabin crew will have the phone that sends messages to other like a call and their one at each flight attendant seats and if they don't have one for each one they will say it to each other that's sitting next to the m and also they way the jump seat is position whilst it's in the folded put position for sitting and it may block the door also it's to save a life.
Vacuumer100 the cargo compartment actually has it own fire extinguisher, but the emergency landing made to prevent any unwanted situations happening. repeating the briefing and synchronize watch is to ensure the crew have same perception towards the situation as long as they have a sufficient time to do all the preparation, this is what called as prepared emergency.
+thatsfabulous It's a Boeing simulator yes it doesn't matter about the crew I've been on 737's with EasyJet with 4 crew before they changed to Airbus. All airlines have a minimum of 3 maximum of 5 but 4 crew members make it easier with the on-board service . I was on a 737-800 with Jet2.com last week and that was 4 crew. Also everything in that cabin was for a 737 not an Airbus aircraft, the cabin and especially the doors showed it was Boeing. So you're right
+easyJetFAN 2016 yes I know there are 4 over wing exits on this type of aircraft, I'm just saying this trainer has three window exits on the SAME side of the fuselage
Very good indeed. A little puzzled though regarding evacuating with lifejackets onto rafts. Was the plane not supposed to land at Charles de Gaule? Was the airport flooded or did the plane end-up in the Seine river?
Even if your comment was 2 years ago - The armes locked is the normal Take-Off/Landing position for Easyjet, as they brace with their hands on top of the head, like airbus recommends it.
My training was never this dramatic. Like why is she telling the two passengers how she opens her harness and the steps to opening the door. She just needs to say, hold people back. Once at the bottom help them off the slide. Such nonsense in this video. I have worked for three airlines and this video is ridiculous. No wonder passengers don't listen in emergency situations.
This is old as fuu..... pls never do this like that ! U have to tell ure passenger that he is saving himself when he is opening the door... in this old video are so many mistakes pls ... learn the new way !!!!!!

People are not dumb by no means people might get in shock! That is not been dumb
Cabin crew spend usually up to 14 weeks it depends on the airliner

this is a 737 classic series/ A320. it is a combined aircraft cabin for crew being endorsed on the airbus a320 and 737
Liam Critchlow it’s an A319
@@marcbrady7241 A320, cos it has two overwings.
@@TheArkamedBat a319 has two over wings as well

Riley Tech Camera View, I am an actor and know that sometimes they have to squeeze actors together.
It’s so it creates the effect the passengers are spread out like irl
hahahahahahahahaha! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Who has ever been in an emergency like this before
charles de gaulle is where i'm flying
This is the Lufthansa Flight Training A320 mockup for cabin training. You can tell by the seats and the livery. The model is simply wearing a generic uniform so it can be used by multiple airlines without any sort of specification.
It's easyjet
i bet i found out first
no its not
luv the British accents!
6:43 budget airline service 😀

Lol this feels like a 1985 easyjet flight. I know its easyjet but. I dont know what year this flight was in.

I just can't get over how old this is 😂😂
Not gonna lie i thought the guy at 13:09 was tryin to reel in some fish lol

This is 737 :)

exactly! this video is dumb. So much wasted time and energy.
So if a fire is burning in the cargo hold they have to waste time repeating a message three times
Decky Zulfahri I know. I go to an aviation college.
In older aircraft this isn't always the case. In most places it's only required that a full suppression system is installed on ETOPS aircraft.
at the end everything gonna be conducted according to each airline safety emergency procedures

A320 Emergency :
Shows a 737 cockpit
Not only that the forward doors are 737
@@patrickjian30exconde15 true but there are both 737 and a320 overwing exits
It's because easy jet only used the fly the 737 I believe
Buen video, pero cualquiera le pone traduccion.🥲
Actually this is a combined SIM, front is Boeing, back is Airbus
This is airbus a320 because the A320 cabin crew is 4 person

Looks like a 737 cabin and doors to me. CC each had their arms locked prior to the landing - big no no!

this is not an A320, because in an A320, there are only 2 pairs of over wing exits, and I can see up to 3 pairs over wing exits.....
