I love hearing the thought you put into making your custom keyboards. They look and sound beautiful, but they also have so much love and thought put into them! It's super cool. Also love how the lighting looks with the aurora keycaps.
holy shmoly. OK I kinda get why people love custom boards now X). I'm using a Wooting 80HE I modded myself but hearing and looking at the aesthetics of this topped of with some nice rgb and a set of traitor keycaps kinda makes me understand why people have a board for gaming and a board for typing feel. Absolutely love this vid 10/10.
Thank you! I appreciate the compliment. Yeah, I think the Wooting 80HE is still fine as it is. If I remember correctly, it should have hot swappable switches? You can at least test some switches on there and it should still feel great to type on!
@@igfxBalance yeah I tried out the gateron jade switches on it but went back to wootings lekkers v2s since I play rhythm games a lot and the soft bottom out is really good for comfort and still sounds pretty good.
I had no clue what you were talking about with the anime stuff but this was extremely well edited with the music and graphics and felt chill as hell. Making someoone a keyboard is so sweet hope they liked it
Yeah, I only briefly mentioned Violet Evergarden to give context to the theme of the keyboard. Otherwise, it's vague enough so that if you haven't watched it, you won't get spoiled. But thank you! I take a bit of pride with my music choice. Kitemist was the one who asked me to make it for her, so I had a slight obligation. That being said, I did the best I could, and Kitemist says she liked it a lot, so mission accomplished!
That space bar stabiliser is definitely ticking, I would recommend doing a holee mod and using dielectric grease on them. I found that this was the best fix for me. Otherwise great work and I love the Violet Evergarden theme. Keep it up!
You think so? I didn't really hear it, but I admit my hearing is not as good as others. It may not have been dielectric grease, but I have a specific lube that I had already used on the stabilizers. I actually had to remove a bit of the lube because I accidentally put too much. I have actually done the holee mod before, and it's what I've done to my personal keyboard, but I avoid doing that to keyboards I make for others now. Mostly because if the stabilizers need to be redone, it would be a pain for others who aren't as well versed in the stuff. So lubing with grease or whatever else is much easier. Thanks though! I still can't hear the ticking you're talking about, but I think I'll trust your ears and try to avoid it next time around. Appreciate you taking the time to watch the video!
