Dominique, i have followed you for more than a decade and have appreciated your content over the years. However, I unsubscribed today after thinking about your decision to interview and post the video with a member of the Osteen family. People aren't all good or all bad, but for me, your affiliation and promotion of this family causes me to question my understanding of who you are foundationally. I will miss you and your content, but to continue to support this channel after the recent content choice, would be a betrayal of my beliefs and values. I wish you well, and thank you for the years of genuine and thoughtful content.
Sadly, I unsubscribed as well. Dominique was my very first follow on RUclips. I cannot continue to support this channel knowing who she has aligned herself with and her very unchristian response to people’s reaction to her very poor choice in a guest.

It is not your job to judge, it’s God who u will answer to as we all will! Dominique can not make everyone happy on who they like or don’t like, it’s certainly up to you but I think your being very unfair to her n only hurting yourselves! 🙏🏻
Hum, as a ministers wife, she did not speak about Jesus. This is a prosperity teaching ministry, not a Jesus is Lord Biblical ministry. I’m shocked so many people fall for this type of church.
The Houston area is full of these mega churches equipped with their own tv studios. They’re nothing more than a place to flash your latest outfit & jewelry… a weekly fashion show, if you will. I’ve lived across the street from one for 15 years.
Hope City church is an off shoot of Lakewood. We must be careful

It’s all about self, not about Jesus. Joel became a pastor by default. I do not respect people who don’t do the work and are lovers of self. It's all about money and selling books. I’m not impressed. With all their money, you can be and do anything you want. Life is easy for them. I listened for maybe 10 min.
So disappointed in finding out you align yourself with these people. I hope you listen to all the comments and are awakened to the true gospel and biblical teaching's. Victoria and Joel are nothing but motivational speaker's and False Teachers. Matthew 7:15
What is the true gospel? Who decides?
The Gospel is the good news that GOD became man in JESUS CHRIST. HE lived the life we should have lived & died the death we should have died -- in our place. Three days later HE rose from the dead, proving HE is the Son of GOD & offering the gift of salvation & forgiveness of sins to anyone who repents & believes in HIM.

Aren’t we all free to follow God or not? I believe in god consciousness but it’s not necessarily Christian. We’re all different here with diverse beliefs and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Ive watched Joel from the first day he became a pastor. I stopped when I realized they didnt teach the real gospel or preached true salvation. They are motivational speakers who are multi multi millionaires and live lavish lifestyles from their prosperity gospel. Im very disappointed in this choice of a guest. She does not reflect the average woman.

I don’t know why there are so many negative comments about Victoria, she is being interviewed as a woman about her life story. Everyone has a story, who’s to say how yours should be? I think she’s a bright, happy and lovely lady with a great story how she evolved to where she is now. I thought it was a great interview!

Sorry I can’t handle listening to this false prophet. Her and Joel teach that everyone can have their best life. This is false teaching. Look at the apostle Paul and his ministry and all the torture he went through for the cause of Christ. I don’t think they have suffered much with all their wealth and luxuries. They should have been focusing some of that money to planting churches everywhere so that others hear the gospel of Christ. Beware of people like this. Judge by the fruits they bear. I am sure they have helped some who were desperate but I will pass on this. I hope you learn the truth Dominique.
I’ve always thought of their “ministry” as more of inspirational and motivational preaching. I’m sure they’ve help people, but to me it hasn’t been the Bible teaching I’ve been bought up on.

If people unsubscribe due to a guest she interviews then they do not value the journalist in Dominique or Dominique as an individual. Why does everyone have to be so black and white in their thinking. In the Bible, People thought Jesus was wrong for entering the tax collectors house, but clearly people were wrong then.

I have mixed feelings about mega-churches. I have attended and left two someone said to me years ago about mega churches "They will entertain you but they will not feed you "(spiritually). I have found that to be true, especially for a person who has originally been grounded in the core teachings of Jesus Christ. There are many people who have one foot in the world and one foot in the church.
Well she may be a nice person, but she and her husband preach a false doctrine in their church. What they teach is not all biblical.

They teach only the feel good gospel and not the true gospel of Jesus. I am disappointed in this choice of guest. They live in a multi million dollar home and live like kings and queens. All off the inspirational/motivational speeches. It cost a lot of money to go to one of her events and then they pass a bucket around asking for more money. I used to watch them but stopped years ago.

I'm just calling out the false teachings in their church, and mainly of her husband, however, she plays an active part in that. Many pastors and Biblical scholars have done the same because they're leading people astray from the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dominique, you must find a church that teaches the true gospel of Jesus Christ instead of the "feel good - no nothing church" of Joel and Victoria Osteen. You are so wise in many other areas, but you fall way short in the "church" area.

I love you Dominique but have never been a fan of the Osteens. I attended their church once and it was quite an experience, a production. All I could think is how much money it must cost to put on such a program. I didn’t feel spirit at alI in that place. Simply do not see the connection between you two ladies at all. Still love you though. Victoria does not resonate with me.

Nothing against this woman: but I was hoping that it wouldn't be only a matter of time before the prosperity church/Osteen congregants came onto the show.
These are people (especially she & her husband) who live in rarified worlds where they hardly relate to most of your audience.
Success & prosperity are important things to work toward & enjoy, but from all accounts of what he does; it's all about $$$$$$$.
The emphasis is not so much on God, The Holy Spirit or Jesus, but on us using God as a means to prosper financially.
Much of the affluent congregation are status conscious above all.
How about some guests who brought themselves up from nothing?
Who succeeded through the sort of adversity that is recognizable to the average American?
Everyone has had their struggles; even the Osteen's I'm sure, but coming through it of your own volition, vs others financial "donations" would be a bit more inspiring.
I'll take an entrepreneur's talk who did it through hard work any day over a private jet flying, 100K per event speaking (or much more), "prosperity" preacher.

Hi Dominique, well, I dont usually comment on videos, but I have to say I was a little shocked and dissapointed with your guest this week. I did watch it and thought about it, and the thought that came to mind is you always say to 'Keep it Classy". But there have been times in the past where VO has NOT kept it classy. I do not respect that women. They were kicked off a plane as a result of her bullying behavior, (and I don't think she had any remorse for her actions). Does that concern you at all? If this is who you choose as your friends/guests, I don't think this is the right channel for me, but I wish you much luck and success with your channel.

Dear dominique a church is a church and a priest is a priest. Its like these pastors make up their own readings and make a lot of money doing so. You actually looked quite uncomfortable at times.
After the fantastic pod cast last week with Greg Scheinman, this interview was vapid, long winded, brown nosed, boring and annoying. I had to fast forward multiple times. Really did not enjoy it at all.

Controversial public figures with enormous wealth (from unclear sources) and numerous scandals linked to their names should expect to be closely scrutinized. The politically correct (or spiritually-driven) desire to not appear "judgmental" but rather "tolerant" of others, too often lets powerful people off the hook for their questionable behavior. And some wonder how the world became so corrupt.

I agree! Joel and Victoria are not genuine people that fit in with what Dominique represents.
I have never had any feelings about Victoria Osteen, but there has been something I have felt is profoundly wrong about her husband. It’s just a feeling of he can’t be trusted; and I don’t know why. I am a faithful Jesus follower, but some church leaders don’t feel right at all.
His whole persona seems rehearsed to me, and that comes off as not genuine. It’s a gut feeling that something is not adding up, it feels wrong.
I often listen to his podcast. It has brought me closer to God. I have gone through some real tough spots in the past year, and listening to their podcast has helped me to get through it all.
Trust your instincts. Right on in this instance.

I never leave comments. However, I would like to let you know what I think. I was not too fond of this post-cast because the lady only talked about her life. She didn’t give any advice. I was expecting more wisdom from someone who dedicated her life to God. I’m not too into gossiping, so I don’t care about what her children are doing. I care about what she did to make them successful if they are.
This video makes my heart break that a woman as smart as you has been taken in and deceived by this couple and their “church” cult. I’ll be praying for you. 🙏🏼

she calls herself a pastor - just watch the video online where she says "we do not come to church to glorify God, we come to church to make ourselves happy. God wants us to be happy!" show that to me in scripture! I am shocked by Dominique and yet embarrassed at myself that I am shocked - after all Joel officiated at her wedding. - though he left early that he might not see anyone consuming alcohol. but twisting scripture - Joel and Victoria have no issue with doing that.

I think it is so sad that people are more interested in tearing down Mrs. Osteen than learning about who she is & her journey. You don't have to agree with her church, etc., but the intent of this interview wasn't about her preaching to us, etc. You missed the intent! I found her fun, honest, joyful about her life & the love she has for her husband & family - now surely you can find some positivity & inspiration from that! 😊🙏🏻💪

It actually is what we, as Christ Followers, are called to judge… false teachers are everywhere. Their teachings are not biblical, and many of those in their church follow them, not Jesus.

I loved all the podcast so far except this one. I felt like a lot of it was just talking about how great her life and marriage was. I skipped through a lot of parts.
Exactly. Like how often social media is disingenuous. To talk about how wonderful your life is, I don’t believe it to be true. Be genuine, be real! Share your challenges and struggles! Help those suffering not to feel so alone. We all struggle.
she has to say how great everything is - that is the "lane" their church lives in - as O'Steen says "that's not my lane" when asked why he doesn't talk about sin. the Bible has plenty to say about sin and its consequences.
I love Dominique and will always watch her no matter who she has on her show , whether I like them or not. They are just guests. Diversity is interesting . It just helps me become more knowledgeable, and helps me know what values i stick to.

I don't like to bad mouth people That I don't know anything about or just go on hearsay from others. Interviews help shed a light on who they are sometimes and that helps me form an opinion. As I said, I'm not a fan, but I wanted to learn more about her.

I just have to comment about this. I personally don't believe in "Prosperity Gospel". Not meaning to be mean here, but I think Joel Osteen is more of a motivational speaker, he and his wife. It is not my place to judge for sure. I am a sinner saved by the blood of JESUS CHRIST. It is CHRIST ALONE who went to the cross for my sins and NO ONE ELSE. I just don't think they are preaching the WORD of GOD AND THE BIBLE. I think you need to stick to non controversial topics and religion and politics are areas where you might want to stay clear of if you want to keep and build your audience. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION.

Dominique - Many of your viewers have supported you through some difficult times and shared lovely comments to encourage you. Your Self Righteous response to these same supporters concerns was extremely disappointing, dismissive and NOT HELPFUL. Guess you put us in our place, Now we know, sadly was hoping for more thoughtful, sensitive reply.

I worked in TV for many yrs & am use to being criticized but that will not change anything I do. I did nothing wrong. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't comment as the POWER of the DELETE button is mine & I will use it as I see fit." Her response was full of I, I, I without any regard of the points being mentioned by her viewers. Deleting comments she see fit does not create balance. For a woman of her image, forgetting the voice of her supporters & dismissing any of their input was hypocritical and the opposite of what it seemed she wants us to think of her. It was an eye opening awareness of pretense. She forgot her supporters may have legitimate reasons for giving voice to their experience regarding her guest. Clearly Dominique did not want to hear or consider her viewers POV and DID NOT handle criticism with the class she portrays. I felt I had been duped all this time, she missed an opportunity to shed light for us all to hear.
I’ve been a subscriber since Dominique was filming in her bathroom and she was “ one of us” when she first started. I remain a fan over the years.

If it is I feel sorry for you and your loved ones. My life is gonna keep going the way it has been whether I watch this video or I don't. I tend to believe yours will as well but you want everyone to think something bad is going to happen if you consume this content. It won't. In all due respect to Dominique and this podcast! I’ve always felt that if you write an article and it’s published on the front page of the newspaper you’re going to get “letters to the editor”. All letters aren’t going to be positive because everyone has an opinion. No matter how positive you’d like the comments to be it’s not a perfect world and there will always be disagreements & other views. It’s just part of social media and subscribers able to state their thoughts just as you’re able to interview whoever you wish to.
I won’t comment on this certain podcast because I choose not to listen to VO……that’s my choice to take it or leave it!
Yes, but not all letters get published, and that is the difference with the space versus the editorial page of the paper. The editorial page will seek to create balance between the positive and the negative. That’s what I’m trying to do here.

Let’s practice the skill of seeking the good instead of reinforcing the habit of criticism.

He have planted seeds that generations and generations will reap great harvests. I will always treasure his teaching. No comparison..
Ive watched Dr. Charles STanley for decades. I used to watch Joel but was totally turned off by the lack of gospel and teaching people about the truth.

I very much enjoyed hearing from Victoria and it has encouraged me to maybe listen to her and Joel in the future. We could all try and just enjoy other peoples successes rather than envy from a distance and make excuses as to why that life is just so unachievable in "real life". If you can't receive others successes well, would u think that God would view you as ready to receive success for yourself?

I agree Joel Osteen is a false preacher. He has no seminary training and started out as a camera man for his father’s ministry.

Truly, hard to believe people buy into this. I feel sorry for so many but there's enough info out there to do personal research and I hope people do that. Also wanted to state that there was no 'faith-content' in this presentation. That is shocking. No mention of her work in the church. Nothing.
This guest does not need any more PR or platforms than she already has. I would love to see you interview folks who actually need exposure and can share their stories - especially during Pride month.

@@stormj5527 That is a great point. I do hold things against Dominique. There is a lot I don't agree with and I hate it that she goes to Lakewood Church. I also hate it that her marriage broke down. I don't know the details, but I only surmise that she put everything else above her husband. Her ideas on Christian values do not always align with mine, but I do like her and I pray for her.
It’s all good. I’m sure Dominque will take a step back and take all of your comments to heart. She knows that her viewers are smart, and maybe our concerns will wake her up and help her see the disingenuous nature of her guest and the organization she represents.

Dominique I know they are your personal friends and I am very sorry that most people see through these people. They were prepared to make money and that's it. Most likely no one that watches this woman can relate to her or respect her and her husband. I realize you may have a soft spot for them because her and her husband are your friends infact he married you and Nick.
I am convinced that young girls need to debunk the romantic notion that opposers attract will last forever. Young women should pray for the grace and discernment to choose wisely. Marriages have a higher success rate if the two people have the same values , ie. values towards money, family , faith and work ethic. Yes, opposites do attract but if they are too opposed they will separate you.
