Not realistic. You won’t get by in Croatia anywhere on the coast with 1000 a month. Inland maybe.

Thank you for the comment. It is realistic, I spent 6 weeks in Croatia last year and I was very fine with $1000 a month. Obviously if you are on a budget you don’t base yourself in touristic areas - on the coast but in a smaller town and make a trip to the coast whenever you feel like.

That’s a valid point. But we can’t stop migration, can we 🤷🏻‍♀️

Do you have an EU Passport. If not you will find it difficult to get the essential resident permits. Easier if you are a millionaire, but if you are you would not be watching this video.

For those without EU passport there is an option of 1 year temporary residency (renewable) which you can get by owning a property or by renting one and having 1 year contract. By no means I am a millionaire either , otherwise I wouldn’t make this video 😂

    Romanian Living Guide:
Rent a studio (30-38sqm) 250Euros in most of the cities, 300-400 euros in Bucharest you can find even a good two bedroom apartment.
Do Shoping at Kaufland and in the traditional markets were peasants are coming to sell their goods 100Eur a week
20eur a month public transport sub
During weekens have parties drinks in general 3-5 euros per drink
when you want to go to the mountain side: take the train (8 euros to go to Sinaia, Busteni, Azuga, Brasov smth like that
You can go to the Sea side with 20 euros I think
there the accomodation is a little schetchy
