the way elliot speaks of laurel canyon brings my memories & feelings about san francisco/marin county to the surface ... i feel the same way about the same time period and the same magic ... about the people, the "families", the open doors, the graciousness, the joy ... when i hear people today scoff at the "hippies" and the baby boomers and about how much of a worthless waste of time it was, i don't feel offended, all i can think is "yes, well, you weren't THERE" ... and yes, at 70 yrs old, i still carry the late 60s/early 70s with me ... loved this conversation
I could listen to Elliot speak all day. What an amazing voice and manner. It calms me. And his life is quite amazing. LOVE these stories and the way they are told.
I'm glad the interviewer chose to talk about the feeling of that time period for young people and the spirit that was in the air. I never set foot in the canyon but that spirit was inside many of us that believed.
Oh Elliot, your treasured memories painted a wonderful picture in my mind..almost like I had been there myself..I so enjoyed your amazing stories and detailed descriptions of this magical place and the people who resided there. Special indeed and I thank you for taking the time to share with us 👍💛
I am so glad I found this and you Elliot Mintz are such a joy to listen to and you just reinforced my desire to travel back in time and live in Laurel Canyon.

I loved hearing of a time and place that reflects era of the music I so love! Thank you for sharing your beautiful memories with us...your voice sounds like that of an angel as you talked of your memories and experiences in Laurel Canyon...It sounds of a time and place we could only wish for today!
Wonderful interview, thank you. So cool to hear about the life in Laurel Canyon in the 60s/70s. Your interviews with David Cassidy are the best ever because you let him talk and be real. He was talking to a friend. Sadly, most of his life thereafter seemed to be putting on a fake persona. Why was your friend blacklisted by Hollywood?
I'm interested to know how you 'represented' Don Johnson..pr?, agent?...and if you ever represented or had the opportunity to represent David Cassidy? Can you speak to why Don essentially blew off David which was surprising and hurtful to David? I'd love to hear more on the dynamic of their acquaintance..if you will..thank you✌❤🎸
@@elliotmintzvideos ty for responding..I read a piece from his last book ..apparently David was at a party and Don snubbed him..I wasn't there, wish I was, :)...that's where I read it..and I heard same from some ladies in the D.C. groups..ty for taking the time to respond. I love your David interviews..hope to hear more. ✌🌻🎶

hi roscoe. i represented don johnson for many years.....and david for just a brief time. i'm simply not aware of the attitude you attributed to don.
