Red was right , Rosa went out like a champ . The music was right , her looks were back , she was her beautiful ,bold ,wild ,self again for one last brief time and Vee was GONE. Everything , even the make up , the music and even her jewelry were so right .
I knew I liked Rosa for a reason. I wasn't to happy with Red for not killing Vee. But this sure made up for it. I got to thinking. They would come across Vees body first giving Rosa more time to escape.
"Always so rude, that one." That's gotta be one of the most badass final words to a character ever. She finally got to feel alive again, going out the way she wanted and in the process, take someone who wronged her and people she cared about. That was some divine justice. R.I.P. Rosa
@Heywood Jablome That's uh, a bit extreme maybe? I mean I know some people I also don't like much, but I've never had the urge to run them over with a car 😂
I'd like to think it's because she stalked a guy after 1 date then when she had the chance broke into his house behind the guards backs and after he confronted her she had her new boyfriend kick his ass simply for telling a crazy fucking stalker to stay away from him and his family, oh when the fact that she's a pathological liar who has no real reason to make up the BS stories she tells
Usually when they cast someone to play a younger version of the character it never turns out good. But the casting of the young rosa and the old one, was just spot on in everyway. I almost thought that was her daughter in real life 👌👌☺
Lorna may be insane, but this is one of her proudest moments. To put her own ass on the line to give Rosa a chance to escape and “die her own way” was so heartwarming, especially after the scenes they shared driving together.
But she still was very well written, a great antagonist and villian. She was planning and manipulative as hell. For instance she only manipulated the relationship of Tastey and the other one to get the other one to sell her stuff in the library.
I felt so happy for her in this scene. Not only is she living out her last moments doing something she always loves but she got to go out on her own terms. After so many times death bringing her pain, through her lover's deaths, she finally makes amends with death and her mortality and goes out with a bang :')
That moment when Vee realizes the old dying lady she'd bullied is speeding toward her in a prison van while rocking some Blue Oyster Cult. Admit it...you'd be a deer in the headlights too.
"Go fuck yourself for the spoilers" y'all are fucking dumb. Those death scenes have been out for a couple of years now so like you've have plenty of time to get caught up don't even start
This is one of the scene that make me go "Hell yeah", not because Rosa killed Vee but because it feels so good to see people break free and feel alive again.
Lorna chasing her screaming “you’re gonna get in big trouble!”. Caputo’s “scatter the nuns”, both had me laughing so hard. Followed by laughter when Vee got hit. Followed hysterical crying as she went out her way, feeling young and free.
It's been years since this season was released and I still come back to this scene. It's one of the best payoffs in the history of TV series, hands down.
This show always amazes me with their success in getting younger actresses that look almost exactly like their older counterparts. Even down to their mannerisms. When Rosa is driving and turns into her younger self if you notice, they have the same teeth, eyes and even a similar face shape as each other.
Rosa mentioned she wanted to die while being chased by police, not by cancer. It's dark, but she got what she wanted. I really cried hard for this scene. She died happy.
And just to see Vee be put in her place for once and killed so quickly and smoothly especially followed with "Always so rude that one" like she was just like an insect. The music to top it all off with Rosa living happily as her old self one last time.. Everything was just so perfect!
Fun fact: in the next episode (first episode of season 3) it was confirmed that Miss Rosa drove the van into a quarry/cliff. No doubt that she has cops on her tail, but instead of going back to jail and suffer even more from cancer, she chose to fly.
This show gave each woman a proper story. Almost every character was humanized and given genuine care with their characters. Seeing Rosa get out was such a feel good moment. She didn't deserve to die in prison.
Seriously one of the best endings to a season of any show ever. Miss Rosa was played so well and the actress they got to play the young version looks like exactly like the older Miss Rosa. 10/10.
This scene is so beautifully done. The irony of Blue Oyster Cult’s “Don’t Fear The Reaper” as Rosa hits Vee with the van, Rosa dying as young as her heart, a small glimmer of hope and humanity in Morello…probably one of the best scenes in the history of the show.
This really is a tear-jerking moment. Rosa really got to go out on her own terms, and kill a very despised character in the process. This couldn’t have ended on a higher note ❤️

I love morello runing behind the van saying "you're gonna get in big trouble", totally selling her act. Even though she still lost her job driving the van.
The transition, the song, her becoming her youth self again, no cancer, no prison.... makes me cry. Always. And the song? Brilliant! She doesn´t fear the reaper (death) anymore, because she is finally free. Brilliant casting, brilliant plot point, just brilliant.
This is THE best scene in the entire series. The prisoner you felt sorry for made use of her limited time left to kill someone who is a menace to society.
this has got to be one of the greatest moments in the history of television, just fucking incredible, the buildup of the whole show leading up to this moment has created such an intense and beautiful climax, and dont even get me started on the casting for young rosa
This is my favorite moment of the entire show. From Rosa's hesitation to her driving balls out with "Dont Fear The Reaper" blaring to "Always so rude, that one!" this is just a perfect season end.

get2rog Miss Rosa got an award for this season!!!
get2rog Sorry to say it, but in retrospect this was the last great episode of OITNB.

The only way this could have been more perfect is if O'neill had yelled "Run, bitches!" instead of "Run, nuns!"

Sweet? Didn't she willingly let an innocent dude get beat up outside of prison?
She had a better ending than 90% of the OITNB cast
That awkward moment that cancer gets a W.
Rosa deserved it tbh
@@AbdulKalam-zd3vk Red also deserved an ending like this but instead got a melodramatic, forced sad ending 🙄
For real
