Lorraine Toussaint did such an amazing job with this role. So believable as a true manipulative psychopath
And she did a similar role with Shadow Weaver in She-Ra! She was fantastic there as well

She really did. It was natural I think the writers didn’t overdo it and make her comically bad. That type of bad guy you get in cartoons.

I always wondered in an alternate universe, if she dint die how would Vee fair in Max with Barb and Carol around?
That's such an interesting perspective, I would have loved to see that
im pretty sure vee wouldve had the upper had as carol and barb were cruel but vee was clearly smarter, cold and more calculating.
@@targaryentapes maybe but in a way at camp there was no top dog like in max, and I’m sure Barb and Carol would not allow her to do the stuff she did at camp seeing how Carol especially was more aggressive in that area
@@omarlopez6518 yes i understand that but thats what im trying to say that vee was so smart she’d play games beyond their understanding to get her way and beat them at their own game… just my opinion

Vee has got to be one of my favorite antagonists of the series, next to Piscatella and Mendez. Lorraine Touisssant (hopefully I spelled that correctly) executed this role perfectly, playing the part of the, may I say, reverse tsundere psychopath
Season 2 got them the multiseason deal. One of the all time best sessons

Yeah. Even though the "bad apple" guards truly got what they deserved and it was good to see. It's better you stopped watching it because things went way down hill for all the characters we loved. I haven't finished tho so I'm hoping for some light at the end of the tunnel for them.
Well, the show only goes downhill the further into it you get.
I didn’t care for Poussey so it didn’t bother me that much.
But the writing goes from telling back stories and deep characters to characters coming and going almost every episode, and you don’t know who to keep track of for latter or who’s going to actually matter in the future.
I never got through season 6, which is the riot season I believe. The writing is a boring mess. After season 4, the entire show focuses on tastee, which also made it hard to stay interested.
Literally just spoiled it

The music here is pretty amazing
They killed her off way to soon her character brought so much to the show!
I think this character would have been diluted if she'd have stayed any longer. A clear beginning middle and end for the character I think was perfect for one season

There's fight or flight. And in this case I'd have felt the need to....hmmm....idk if it'd be worth it but....probably fight or at least show dominance in that situation. She's alone right now. Show her who's boss sooner than later or it'll be too late.

There have been very few villains in all of the shows i have watched that made me WANT to see them die.
My heart literally LEAPT with joy when that van smacked her.
A credit to Lorraine Touissant's incredible performance. 😀 If you made your audience hate your character, you played the villain RIGHT! 😊
