It had ground stakes but we had a ton of rain and the ground was super soggy

Looks like you got that deck nice and beefed up Henry. Currently doing an engine swap on a JD 105. Looking forward to the swap on this one. Should be a nice unit for sure.

Henry wire feed welding is a lot easier than stick welding 😉
I disagree, I’ve used flux core for years and stick welding is way easier. For small seams I’ll do flux core wire, but for a need of thick welds, electrodes are great.
@@MowersNBlowers I guarantee your welds would look much better when using wire feed welders that's partly why your welds look like they do 🤔

Make sure when you pull that motor that you SAVE & MARK the stator that is in it. it should be one of the HIGH AMP OUTPUT ones to be able to run that electric PTO. Would have loved to see the BOTTOM of the deck after you welded the top.
Well the vtwin engine has that stator already. It’s easy to distinguish the stators. Dual circuit vs 10/16 amp ones

looking at all the filth and debris all over that machine...I don't get how people can spend thousands of dollars on these mowers and not take care of them...just boggles my mind.
I just don't get it, although some would call me OCD. I clean all my equipment with my leaf blower after almost every use.

Did it ever occur to you some people that have enough money for a zero turn wouldn’t give two shits about keeping their shit clean? They use it and abuse it, then throw it out and buy another one. That’s why I get everything for free because I live on Long Island, which is a throw away society.
@MowersNBlowers Oh absolutely, but still, even from an organizational standpoint, "putting something clean back in my neat garage" motivates people to clean a messy piece of equipment. Otherwise, yeah, all the stuff that I've flipped over the years is completely because of the throwaway society.
