These skill builders are very helpful as they can be leveraged for so many other tasks that come up when modeling. Thanks 😎🤙
This is an awesome technique for putting a rim or any kind of trim on any shape with the right cornering. Really cool. As always, thanks for sharing skills.
This gives me a clue how to set up a curve for a railway track bend. Thanks Aaron.
Railroads use spiral to curve to spiral....
These skill builder videos are really building my skill up. Thanks.

Excellent video as always Aaron. Great information and explanation of techniques that'll be really useful for numerous things.
great, your tutorials are of great help because they teach you to think about solutions, thanks
Thanks! I do my best to get viewers to accidentally learn something more than they intended to!

How do you control the camera perspective without using orbit tool?
Space mouse
Would love to see a tutorial on how to do a pair of twisted wires.
Tyson will show you everything you need to know about wires and cables here: ruclips.net/video/VwWjuy9e1pg/видео.html
@@SketchUp Thank you!
how do you move your camera so smooth?
Cable drape is a catenary curve. Compute it in Excel, chart it, trace over the image in Sketchup. Same with hyperbolas, etc. if you want mathematical accuracy.
I have tried to do this for a garden hose a few years ago. But its was not great... Thanks for this! It looks really good
It is good to know if you are working in the free version or the pro.
Unless stated otherwise, all Skill Builders are showing SketchUp Pro
Hi how can i drop fruits naturaly in a bowl, i saw a way by increasing the bend clothwork feature in the model but still not that much effective ?
Is that cable a solid object ?
I mean could I , theoretically ,save it as a printable file for a 3d-printer ?
It would be great for Modeling .
this was awesome thanks for sharing
Good tutorial. For something more complicated, you could make it a three stranded rope.
One could make a three stranded rope… one could…
Amazing!!! Thank you!!!

Love the tee-shirt! Mdr
that is why you should always make a copy of the path before you follow me, or just undo multipal times which annoying. also try fredo scale instead of defult scale will fix that issue with scaling
Cool.
no matter what i do..i cant get those lines off from the face. i dont know what mistake i am doing here.
Group the wall before you draw the lines. See if that helps!
