If she would have put a hot oil treatment on top of that conditioner, it would have locked it all in better. I have locked and I try to do this every couple of months to keep my hair healthy and right
If you are going to deep condition you don't need the conditioner. Sometimes I don't have time to deep condition and thats when I just run the conditioner thru my hair. Some people do both using a conditioner first but thats a waste of time. I grew my hair past braw strap length deep conditioning EVERY week with plastic bag and sitting under the dryer.
I suppose it depends on your hair type, but my hair used to be super stiff when I used too much protein. Since adding moisturizing products, it's been light, bouncy and shiny.

Nope.... 🙋🏾 I do as well. My hair is damn near mid back & thick so in my head🤔 15mins isn't long enough.
I do the same. I leave it on 1 hour and 30 minutes because I have really dry hair and cut my ends every 2 month.
