I have both transposition of the great vessels and immotile cilia syndrome lol
it was at this moment that he knew...he...
* CORRECTION* : Situs Inversus Totalis doesn't have Transposition of Great vessels. In Situs Inversus Totalis, the Heart and abdominal viscera are the mirror image of normal, and the Aorta and Pulmonary Trunk originate in appropriate chambers and there is No cyanosis. It's just the the Left Ventricle which is still supplying Aorta is on opposite side, kind of rotated to the other side.
Situs Inversus Totalis is not a cyanotic condition and people can live almost normal lives except for infertility and frequent respiratory infections.
In Transposition of Great Arteries, the Aorta originates off the Right ventricle carrying De-oxygenated blood to body and Pulmonary trunk carries Oxygenated blood, its cyanotic and if not corrected early after birth its fatal.
Would like to speak more about this.. Are you open to discussing further? There is such limited information on situs inversus totalis
Does anyone know if there ist a gene therapy against that?

Do they know how this is caused in cases where no one in the family has the condition?
Both parents must be carriers of the gene in order for a child to be born with it. Not all children who are born to parents with the gene have it, though. 😊
que bueno que se ingles para entender esto

Wait how does the egg pierce the peritoneum? :O
It does.
The peritoneum that surrounds the ovary is not as strong as you think.
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis Ok. The peritoneum is flimsy. But what pushes the egg through? I'm struggling with imagining.
@@lemueljohnurbano3705 the follicule that ruptures, contracts by a microarrengment of myofibers, triggered by a cascade of intracellulary events that begins with the LH peak.
