Kijo - A female demon. These Yokai of Japanese Folklore look like human females but are hideous in appearance, with red eyes, claws, long horns and twisted faces. Kijo are women that were transformed into demons through jealousy, terrible crimes, or due to the most intense of grudges held against others. Kijo will often retreat to deep in the mountains and avoid people, focusing on pursuit of magic to continue their bad deeds or fullfill their revenge.
To understand more about the period of history please see our Lore page. This Ogress is born from the grief of Lady Tsukiyama, Tokugawa Ieyasu's Wife.
A devoted and jealous wife, but separated from her husband by circumstance when he moved to Hamamatsu and he began a long affair with a maid who later bore him a son who would become legitimate. Her son Matsudaira Nobuyasu was married to Oda Nobunaga's daughter Tokuhime, but she had bore him no heirs.
It is said Lady Tsukiyama attempted to secure a new concubine for Nobuyasu from a retainer from the opposing Takeda clan, which made jealous Tokuhime tell her father that Lady Tsukiyama and Nobuyasu were conspiring against the Oda. Some theories said the concubine attempt never happened and Tokuhime plotted this to get rid of her mother-in-law.
As a show of loyalty, Tokugawa Ieyasu ordered his wife executed, and his son to commit seppuku. (1579 AD) Video capture by Rubhen925 - footage used by agreed collaboration.

Keep yourself right under her claws, don't get greedy with combos, take a break from combos to time her jump, don't spend too much near the walls as the camera will confuse you when she jumps & squashes you because your camera angle is bad. Died to her a few times but once you get her jumping and claw frenzy timing, she's a breeze.

Every time I try to fight her, her grapple glitches out. Once she starts the grapple, no matter where I am in the arena, I get teleported into her grapple. She slams the attack to so I just can’t beat her
I noticed with her jump atk, you're not really supposed to directly dodge it, but really make sure you're already well out of the way by the time she's at the apex of her jump arc because the hitbox on that attack is pretty massive.
Btw how did u get the grandpa outfit lol. I'm doing this on my first run through so are u more powered up. Also is low stance best then ?
just staying at her back the entire time. took a few hits, backed of to elixir and then came right back (with dual swords) to her chest then her back, and that's it. surprisingly the easiest boss so far for me. not complaining tho, this game can be hell!
Maybe I'm too op. I just beat her with ease without getting touched. Power pill, regen, pleiades, sloth, and fuse-ushi while using Rai Kokutsugu dual tachi. Im Lvl 94.
How do you skip animation of living weapon that turn camera around by default?
this isn't the ogress im fighting, do they have 2 bosses named ogress. Mine is in the temple ruins and she wears white with 6 irritating devil heads.
Block and dodge for that one.

Dumbest boss ever. She isnt even hard, the problem is that after half health she keeps spammimng me with fruit frenzy attacks where she spins and turns and i cannot escape them forever
yet another badly designed nioh-boss. honestly, who would think of a boss, that can hardly hit you if you stay in melee range?
Oh yeah, like Dark Souls doesn't have those....same for bloodborne
well, the ogress reminds me of the one reborn. just as badly designed. or ebrietas, but she looks a lot nicer :D
Bin Tuh you don't get the point of ogress. She is meant to fuck with your preconceptions. When you see a large enemy attack in this game your response is to dash away or to the side. If you do that with Ogress you go right into her attack. You wouldn't think of it.
Yep, seems they chose "bullshit" as the game's main theme.
It helped me to beat her without getting hit for that respectable 60 prestige points!
