6:08 What you have against Aura Wheel? It's amazing move that raise speed! It has special effect on Morpeko (changes into dark type move if it has Hangry mode) but other then that its stil usable electric type move that other pokemon CAN use it (for example if they roll it via Metronome)! So yeah, you CAN use that move!
You mentioned Adaptability Explosion, but glossed over Adaptability Boomburst...effectively 280 BP with no downside off of an okay SpAtk. Boomburst until a special tank comes out or Unfeazant is almost gone, *then* Explode.
i thought the same, but i remember that unfezant probably wouldnt live 2 hits from any pokemon and is not that fast either, so its ok to think valuing more the explosion
Here's a couple of calcs using Tyranitar as the target (I figured the max IVs on each side for their stats, so there may be a little wiggle room if the IVs were slightly off): 0 SpA 29 IVs Adaptability Unfezant Boomburst vs. 0 HP 13 IVs / 0 SpD 1 IVs Tyranitar: 43-51 (25.9 - 30.7%) -- guaranteed 4HKO 0 Atk 1 IVs Adaptability Unfezant Explosion vs. 0 HP 13 IVs / 0 Def 6 IVs Tyranitar: 96-113 (57.8 - 68%) -- guaranteed 2HKO This means that it could actually down the Tyranitar a turn after it switches in by going Boomburst then Explosion (as long as one crits)...and it's faster to boot.
"Then We Fight!" Idea: 6 Random Encounters, 1 skip, 3 evolves to use on what you catch (can evolve same pokemon multiple times or 3 different pokemon evolve once, your choice). adjust anything you like. I liked the idea of using evolves as currency. enjoy :)

To answer your question quick scizor is better bc it has one weakness fire while that is 4x weakness. Scyther has weakness to fire, flying, electic and ice, 4x weakness to rock.
Video idea! What if after you catch your teams you spin a wheel that has the following options: 1: swap teams, 2: swap first 3 pokemon, 3: swap bottom 3 pokemon, 4: don`t swap any pokemon. It would be cool because when you make the teams you must consider the pokemon going away after a potential swap.

I got a potentially epic video idea. It might be a long explanation; it's called Grass, Fire, Water shoot. You each have 30 seconds to catch any mon you see, no restrictions, but the encounter has to start before the timer is up, and you can't evolve what you catch (unless you win). Then you tell each other what you got. Only using the primary (first) typing, If you catch a mon that has a primary type super effective against the other then you win the round , you can either get another 30 seconds to find a new mon, give the other player 10 seconds to find a new mon, Swap mons, fully evolve the mon you have, or do nothing. If the Pokemon are neutral or both super effective, you both keep the mon. Immunity also counts as a win. Feel free to use both typings, but I felt it made explaining the rules way too long. It's your video, so feel free to improve the rules, but I think this could be fun.
I have two challenge suggestions First is: babies and big bro challenge Catch the first 10 babies in the overworld and pick the best 5 and one teen pokemon or middle stage pokemon. No legends of course. 2nd challenge is: catch a random pokemon in the wild, its first move chooses the type of pokemon you catch next. rinse and repeat 5 times. Choose which pokemon you want to keep but if you decide to skip one pokemon you have to skip the pair altogether. Full evolution and no legends. The fact that a couple of y'all Pokemon was the same just gives even more reason to do a clone challenge, you each either flip a coin, roll a dice or play rock,paper, scissors then who ever wins it get to catch a team of 6 Pkm one of them being a legend then the loser has to catch the exact team the winner catches then y'all battle each other. Ps the winner can catch whatever they want, no random encounter just catch what you see, oh and as a bonus the winner can have 2 or 3 skips just in case of catching a good pkm with bad moves, also to make it a little more fair whichever game is played to select the winner make it a best of 3. Okay I like to randomly talk Pokémon mechanics so for QuickGG regarding Scyther and it's evos - Scyther is one of the worst typings that exist with many weaknesses, and Scizor is one of the best typings with only a single x4 weakness. Scyther gets speed but a bad defensive type, Scizor has defence, a good defensive typing and synergy of Technician+BulletPunch, and Kleavor (in a game where it exists) has good utility (access to an attack that sets rocks, StoneAxe) and better speed and attack power than Scizor in exchange for lower defences. So Scyther for speed. Scizor for defence and defensive typing. Kleavor for moves, offensive typing, and speed in between the two. Scizor is probably your best option when the moves are random
Suggesting again: The Twos-day challenge. Release it on a Tuesday, and do a double battle with only 2nd stage Pokemon. In Gen 1 alone you have some major 2nd stage monsters. Arcanine. Gyarados. Starmie. Snorlax. Not to mention the Eeveelutions. You just balance that roster against all the awkward mid-stage that are kind of meh. And then there's Metapod...

Challenge idea: the dice game, random encounters, once you catch a Pokémon you roll a 6 sided dice and whatever number it is, the Pokémon goes in that place of order. Example: you catch a Mew roll a 3, that mew is now in the third spot. The catch is, you keep going until every slot of full. So if the next time you encounter a rookidee and roll a 3, it replaces that mew.
Random encouner, random trade challenge. Catch 6 random pokemon (no skips, but evolving is allowed). Then, each player makes a spinner with the names of their pokemon and spins it to figure out which pokemon they're trading. Then update the spinners with the traded pokemon. Repeat the last 2 steps twice for a total of 3 trades (and a chance for a traded pokemon to get traded back). Then fight.
Randomized challenge. Start with a random encounter. The type of the first attack is your next type of pokemon you catch that you see in over world. Can't have same type 2 times in a row so go to next attack/type. Evolve all babies. Pick team from 8 catches. Last catch is a legendary.
Video idea: You each roll a single dice 3x…. The total amount you roll over the three rolls is how many random encounters you are allowed to pick your final team of up to six Pokémon from! If you are unlucky and roll #1 three times, sorry but you only take a team of 3 into battle. If you are super lucky and roll #6 three times, then you get 18x encounters to pick your final 6 from. Would love to see this as a future video (upvote in the comments if you would too)
1 mon of every type - THEN WE FIGHT! -sword/shield or Scarlet Violet -There are 18 types total, take turns picking your types for your team, 1 type at a type (so you each pick 9 types) -for each type, run around the overworld and catch a fully evolved pokemon of that type that you see. -catch 9 pokemon, choose 6. Hi guys, I have a crazy idea Similar to take it Or risk it challenge how about the person who is picking a Pokémon gets to ask which Pokémon he wants to be revealed and he can either Decide to take that Pokémon letting the other person take one From the other 2 Pokémon OR risk it by taking one unknown for himself and giving one unknown For the other player And u guys can choose 6 out of 8 pokemons For example, if quickGG decided to take the middle Pokémon which is revealed for him , Chillinplay Can pick one of the other two remaining Or if he decides to take the risk He can pick one unknown Pokémon for himself and give an unknown Pokémon to chillin
7 degrees of separation. Get a random encounter and that's your first pokemon. Then choosing from any overworld (fully evolved +1 legendary) you get 7 more pokemon that have to be in some way connected to the last one you caught. Maybe they were used by the same trainer in a game, maybe they are both blue, maybe they are both grass types. Upto you if you give yourself a timer between catches so it doesn't have to be the first thing you see and gives more opportunity for shenanigans and hilarious justifications.
Video idea - “go fish” one person gets a random encounter and then the other person has a guess (or multiple) to guess the type or gen of the Pokémon. If they get it right then they can choose to take it or let their opponent keep it. If they choose to let their opponent keep it then they have to “go fish” and get a random encounter from a fishing spot.

When going over the pokemon, sometimes you guys have some weird takes. Like the araquanid. It looked absolutely busted to me. What more could you want? Am I missing something? I guess the only problem is that it's missing its original ability. But quiver dance can maybe make up for it.

For example.. If it lands on hp.. He shall tell hp of 3 pkmn from table based on thaf player has to choose.. Similarly spin one time before choosing each pokemon from set.. U csn keep skips.. But to spice things usr fully evolvef pkmns in battle..
Fight idea: you each catch 6-8 Pokemon. Have a wheel or randomizer assign you half of the Pokemon. You think you caught a beast until the other person gets it from the RNG
New idea. Every time you do these random battles, you catch 9-10 mons and skip some mons. My idea is catch 12 mons, make 2 separate teams, no skips, no duplicates and do 2 battles

A good idea will be to catch a team of 9 Pokémon so that would be 8 normal and 1 legend but the twist is you have to get random encounters and if you get a baby then you fully evolve it but if you find a fully evolved Pokémon you have to add the baby version instead and mid stage evos just skip them sadly

Scyther gets speed but a bad defensive type, Scizor has defence, a good defensive typing and synergy of Technician+BulletPunch, and Kleavor (in a game where it exists) has good utility (access to an attack that sets rocks, StoneAxe) and better speed and attack power than Scizor in exchange for lower defences.
So Scyther for speed. Scizor for defence and defensive typing. Kleavor for moves, offensive typing, and speed in between the two. Scizor is probably your best option when the moves are random
Suggesting again: The Twos-day challenge. Release it on a Tuesday, and do a double battle with only 2nd stage Pokemon.
In Gen 1 alone you have some major 2nd stage monsters. Arcanine. Gyarados. Starmie. Snorlax. Not to mention the Eeveelutions. You just balance that roster against all the awkward mid-stage that are kind of meh. And then there's Metapod...

Same. Or them saying that a monster is more of an attacker/special attacker when the difference between them is like 20 points. Like sure, Dragonite has more attack than special attack, but it still has more special attack than your "special cannon" Roserade, so maybe try and have an open mind?

Challenge idea: the dice game, random encounters, once you catch a Pokémon you roll a 6 sided dice and whatever number it is, the Pokémon goes in that place of order. Example: you catch a Mew roll a 3, that mew is now in the third spot.
The catch is, you keep going until every slot of full. So if the next time you encounter a rookidee and roll a 3, it replaces that mew.
Idea. Catch Pokémon. Spin a wheel with a directive. Such as any ability, any item, trade with opponent, any moves it can learn, etc. Fight.
Random encouner, random trade challenge.
Catch 6 random pokemon (no skips, but evolving is allowed). Then, each player makes a spinner with the names of their pokemon and spins it to figure out which pokemon they're trading. Then update the spinners with the traded pokemon. Repeat the last 2 steps twice for a total of 3 trades (and a chance for a traded pokemon to get traded back). Then fight.
Randomized challenge. Start with a random encounter. The type of the first attack is your next type of pokemon you catch that you see in over world. Can't have same type 2 times in a row so go to next attack/type. Evolve all babies. Pick team from 8 catches. Last catch is a legendary.

You each roll a single dice 3x…. The total amount you roll over the three rolls is how many random encounters you are allowed to pick your final team of up to six Pokémon from!
If you are unlucky and roll #1 three times, sorry but you only take a team of 3 into battle.
If you are super lucky and roll #6 three times, then you get 18x encounters to pick your final 6 from.

-for each type, run around the overworld and catch a fully evolved pokemon of that type that you see.
-catch 9 pokemon, choose 6. Random abilities,
-no Legends/UBs/myths/paradoxes/etc.
-other typical stuff (moves to type, abilities random, no dupes, typical tera/dyna rules...) but ALSO:
-if/when you catch an ultra-high BST non-legend like Archeops or Slaking, tell each other, your opp may select a held item to give to 1 mon for the fight.

Similar to take it Or risk it challenge how about the person who is picking a Pokémon gets to ask which Pokémon he wants to be revealed and he can either Decide to take that Pokémon letting the other person take one From the other 2 Pokémon OR risk it by taking one unknown for himself and giving one unknown For the other player And u guys can choose 6 out of 8 pokemons
For example, if quickGG decided to take the middle Pokémon which is revealed for him , Chillinplay Can pick one of the other two remaining
Or if he decides to take the risk He can pick one unknown Pokémon for himself and give an unknown Pokémon to chillin
7 degrees of separation.
Get a random encounter and that's your first pokemon. Then choosing from any overworld (fully evolved +1 legendary) you get 7 more pokemon that have to be in some way connected to the last one you caught. Maybe they were used by the same trainer in a game, maybe they are both blue, maybe they are both grass types.
Upto you if you give yourself a timer between catches so it doesn't have to be the first thing you see and gives more opportunity for shenanigans and hilarious justifications.
We need a wonder trade challenge next. 6 randoms caught. 6 trades. No skips. Let the chaos begin.
Video idea - “go fish” one person gets a random encounter and then the other person has a guess (or multiple) to guess the type or gen of the Pokémon. If they get it right then they can choose to take it or let their opponent keep it. If they choose to let their opponent keep it then they have to “go fish” and get a random encounter from a fishing spot.
Catch a whole team
You can lock 1 (non legendary pokemon) to keep on the team no matter what
You can trade the team away
You can stick with the team
Or scrap the whole team
But if the other wants to trade you have to trade
Then can keep that team or scrap that team

When going over the pokemon, sometimes you guys have some weird takes. Like the araquanid. It looked absolutely busted to me. What more could you want? Am I missing something? I guess the only problem is that it's missing its original ability. But quiver dance can maybe make up for it.
No you’re not tripping if a Pokémon doesn’t have 4 OP attacking moves or some sort of instant status inducing affect they think it’s not that great you can watch they’re videos for the Pokémon knowledge you have to watch it for the entertainment lol

Each Person Must catch the first fully evolved pokemon they see of each letter of the Name for a total of 7 pokemon.
You will also be allowed a single Legendary catch of the first Legendary you see.
The Legendary will be your Champion so you must use it no matter how bad it may be
I have an idea.. Spin a wheel challenge.. On that wheel u write all stats like hp, atk etc.. U have to pick a pkmn from table.. Before that spin a wheel based on tht oth player tell u details.. For example.. If it lands on hp.. He shall tell hp of 3 pkmn from table based on thaf player has to choose.. Similarly spin one time before choosing each pokemon from set.. U csn keep skips.. But to spice things usr fully evolvef pkmns in battle..
Spin a wheel labeled with all the types of pokeballs. Whatever it lands on you have to catch a pokemon with the existing color scheme of the ball.
Fight idea: you each catch 6-8 Pokemon. Have a wheel or randomizer assign you half of the Pokemon. You think you caught a beast until the other person gets it from the RNG

You should do a wheel of routes that you need to catch a pokemon at. You can only pick from the ones that you can see.
This challenge could be better, instead of only trading 1 Pokémon, catch 6 Pokémon and u get to keep 3 while the other 3 are sent to your friend. Random encounters only and fully evolved.
Idea: You have 20 min to catch 10 pokemon, then if you can spell an ability/move from the first letters of your pokemon names then you can give it to one of them.
A good idea will be to catch a team of 9 Pokémon so that would be 8 normal and 1 legend but the twist is you have to get random encounters and if you get a baby then you fully evolve it but if you find a fully evolved Pokémon you have to add the baby version instead and mid stage evos just skip them sadly
Maybe do a video where you catch 10 encounters. Then after you have all 10 spin a wheel 6 times that could affect your teams. Like swapping the second Pokémon caught. Having to bring the lowest BST regardless, evolving/Devolving a Pokémon. And other punishments.
