I know you cannot do Electric and Poison types because the bracket would get messy, but after the tournament ends, you and Chillin should make electric and poison play against each. Then, winner plays the winner of the tournament.
They said they blocked Poison and Electric because there were fewer options available to them, not necessarily that the bracket would've been messy (they could've been slotted in as byes early on)...with there being 24 Poison lines available (3 of which are "legendary") and 29 Electric (*8* "legendaries") available, the teams would (if they continued) likely end up being quite similar in build (just not movesets).
@@kaitouluminous7114, it seems that they've had more issues with their S/V randomizers than other PokéTubers, so I could understand it if they preferred to use the more stable randomizer.
Only from a visual standpoint...the secondary typings can help or hinder (for example, here...Grass vs. Fairy doesn't have any interactions, but with Grass commonly paired with Poison, Grass is more likely to have an option to deal with Fairies than a dual-type Fairy would have against Grass duals). Basically, I have a feeling that they sat down and looked at all the major commonalities (like Grass/Poison or Grass typings commonly getting Poison type moves) and hashed out the best bracket they could...for reference, of the 33 Grass type lines available in Sw/Sh, four of them are part Poison while five more are "Legendary" (which doesn't necessarily address the type issues directly...but it *increases* the likelihood of getting something that'd have a Poison move).
@@danielaubun I highly doubt that because then it would be astonishingly lucky to get 6 out of 8 entirely neutral matchups. Like, literally, the odds for Grass AND Fire (both of which are neutral against only 6 out of 15 possible opposing types) AND Fighting (which is neutral against just 5 out of 15 other types) AND Ground AND Rock AND Ice (all three of which are neutral against 7 out of 15 other types) to all avoid any type matchups whatsoever, that just doesn't happen randomly.
@@Alsebra I would still argue Ghost v Bug is an especially poor matchup because there are no Bug/Dark type Pokémon and Shedinja doesn't count so no Bug/Ghost either. In fact, the total absence of Bug/Normal and Bug/Dark type Pokémon means there isn't even a single Bug type in these games that resists Ghost. Also 2 out of 3 possible Bug type legendaries are Bug/Fighting type, meaning they are entirely incapable of hitting Ghost types for neutral STAB damage because Ghost obviously resists Bug and is immune to Fighting. Meanwhile Chandelure, Blacephalon and Drifblim are there for the taking for the other side, not to mention Gengar, Mimikyu, Aegislash and Marshadow who all pose a nightmarish matchup for any Bug type. Water v Steel is more defendable because of the existence of Magnezone, Kartana, Ferrothorn, etc. but Bug v Ghost is about as lop-sided as a matchup can get without being immediately obvious.

April Fool’s challenge Record any challenge you want, something like a ‘ten random encounters with random movesets’. But unbeknownst to the other, one of you cheats and picks a team of absolute stacked bois with top tier moves. You each do this once at any point of the year so it’s a surprise to the other and release on April 1st
Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist come in 4 sizes: small, medium, large, and Super size. Depending on the size category, their stats will be different. Small size is frail, but fast, while super size is slow and bulky
I am again posting this in hopes of this becoming a challenge Love your vids along with Chillin Here's an idea for you both: Roll a D6/ Spin a Wheel Whatever the number, you must encounter a Pokémon with something pertaining to that number (E.G. roll a 3 and encounter a Tauros which you catch because it has 3 tails and this can be up to any interpretation). Overworld encounter Random Pokémon Random abilities Fully evolved 3 skips Roll 6 sided die/ spin wheel with 6 numbers to determine feature of Pokémon to capture
Here's a challenge idea Give both players 3000 $, encounter a random Pokemon and then bid a certain amount. He who bid greater amount gets the Pokemon. If the Pokemon is useless and both players doesn't want to place a bid then skip the Pokemon. Repeat till both players have a full Pokemon team. If one player has 6 Pokemon and the other has only 5, then the other has to accept the next random encounter as his final squad member, no skiping allowed. All Pokemon will have random abilities and moveset There will be No limit on legendary or mythical Pokemon, the player who bids more gets them. A player can bid on more than 6 Pokemon and use any 6 he likes. He can also bid on Pokemon to raise price of Pokemon his opponent wants.
Video suggestion: Choose non randomized overworld pokemon and pick held items on spin the wheel. Whatever you get, you're stuck with it. Before you spin the wheel, roll a dice for advantages. 1,3,5 no advantage. 2 - Steal a held item (opponent rerolls), 3- swap a held item between your pokemon or with opponent) and 6 - custom held item on one pokemon.
Here's an idea: the lucky dip challenge, you both get to make 6 Pokemon you make 3 babies as cheesy/useless as you can and 3 strong Pokemon with the best moves and abilities on them, then each get a fishing encounter, a tree shake encounter, three random grass encounters and an overworld random pokemon of your own choice (can't change moves or abilities on any of those) You put all 24 Pokemon in a randomised order and random number generate taking turns til you both have 9 Pokemon on your team. One person could get all babies and the other all legends or could get balanced teams.
I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.
So when I watch your fight videos I'm just enjoying it, like I don't pick a side of who I want to win. Lmao this is the only then we fight content I don't choose a side hah
Simple idea: The day / night challenge. Each player has to catch the first 8 "daytime / nighttime" themed pokemon. Pokemon you can only find during day/night cycle in game(sentret/hoothoot), pokemon that only evolve at night / daytime (umbreon/espeon) etc. use your best judgement. choose your favorite 6 :) !!!!!
The toxic spikes was so clutch. Honestly if Chillin brought klefki he could’ve potentially pulled it off, but Quick stall is hard to anticipate in hindsight
Not really though. Chillin would've probably sent out ferrothorn as his last ace and gourgeist tanks a fire blast and retaliates with grav apple against comfey. This game was a done wrap for the fairy types sadly. Both mr.mime and tapu fini can't break down ferrothorn hard enough to get the win
@@tahjaewhite7892 I think if he gets rid of Vileplume with his other 2 mons Comfey cleans up with fireblast as long as they hit because Ferrothorn is 4x weak to it and Gourgeist was 4x weak to it as well due to it’s fluffy ability. I could be wrong, though, I didn’t run the calcs!

The Ferrothorn was honestly wasted. Bringing it in for the chip bullet was fine, but you should have swapped it right back out. Forcing swaps for poison damage ticks was a win condition that you had access to and its a good thing you didn't need it.

Video idea: Catch 6 random pokemon with 2 skips. Take all the moves and abilities that have been randomized and reallocate them to the pokemon that you don't skip.
I think you each should get to choose the 5 pokemon of your choice plus the legend for 6 total. That way the teams would be more fair. Randomize their ability amd moves. If you don't like the moves you can choose two random ones from a randomized move re-learner for each pokemon!
@@samable7724 His Azumaril had conversion, and if he moved his Glacial Lance up, that would've been Ice resist replacing water type. Plus stab glacial lance.
