I don't think that concept can work as a pure reversal. Chien Pao has a National Pokédex ID of 1002, and 2001 isn't even in the plans yet.
If you allow permutations of the digits, you have a concept. Going back to Chien Pao, those digits can also form the natdex IDs for: Gouging Fire (1020), Granbull (0210), Unown (0201), Staryu (0120), Exeggcute (0102), Spearow (0021), and Butterfree (0012).

Video Idea: 6 rounds and you take all 3 Pokémon from each round. All Pokémon stay the same with no evolutions however they do get different perks based on what stage they are. Legendary / Mythic / Psuedo (no change) > 3rd Stage (1 illegal move) > 2nd Stage (any ability) > 1st Stage (1 illegal move & any ability). Now that you have all that sorted you create 3 separate teams and have a best of 3 battle. Can only use each team once.

Free idea for you guys: you build your teams, play round 1. Then you switch each others teams for round 2. That way you gotta balance having a good team that is also kinda shitty to win both.

Battle Idea-
Choose Pokemon based on their pokedex number and if guessed correct you can any ability from the three present in the round and only last round will have legendaries so 1 legendary each.

You should try having a set of randomized pokemon with set skills and group them to 1-5 coin rate. Then give those grouped pokemon to your opponent so they can strategize their team of 6 with 20 coins. And your opponent do the same, it should be fun to see you strategize the coin rating of pokemon you give to your opponent, and strategize your own pick with only 20 coins

You should do pokedoku for a video in this format. You can fill out a row yourself then have the other person fill it out trying to guess the pokemon you put… or something along those lines
Shady I feel the coin flip. I used to play a game with an old coworker where we’d flip a coin best two out of three and the loser would by the winner a drink from the food court. We played countless games and I always lost. I only ever won one time and that was on his last day, and I was trying to prove to our manager that I never win. I might’ve won but it didn’t feel like a win in the end XD

say you start with 15 lie points and those points are used to adjust the dex number of one of the starters by however many lie points u put in (to avoid legendaries or fake it into one)
if u spend the points too quickly then u cant lie on future rounds
