Seeing the Blissey with Delibird move makes me want to see a video where one chooses the Pokémon to use and the other from what move pool it uses it's attack. For example: Delibird, Kyurem and Sunflora are the options. The Oponent gave you Sunflora but you chooses to give it Kyurem moves. Or the other way around where you choose the pokémon and the Oponent chooses the moves.
Considering the mons are shown immediately after listing anyway, you know what would have been amazing? Framing the three in game pokemon and slotting in a really poorly drawn png of the lie between them - like drawn with childrens crayons

These battles were ridiculously intense. I really love the 'ability from the same type' rule since it lets you turn unassuming pokemon into menaces, like SUCK.

An idea for "...Then we fight": Soul linked but each player sees the other options each ban one at the same time: - If both ban different positions both get the only allowed (i.e. 1 ban left the other right both go mid) -If both ban the same position both get the banned mon with a random debuff (i.e both ban mid, You get mid with no item / capped EVs / 2 random moves /...)

I brought up this idea a while ago: 10 truths, 8 lies. Each round, you can choose to either lie once, twice, or three times, but only get a total of 8 lies overall. Of course it can be changed to a different amount of lies but i feel like 10/8 is best
How about multiverse team? Each person has two different teams. Each round a person picks a Pokémon in two different starter parties. If they pick left, the other Pokemon they choose in the other starter group is also left.
