video idea, play blackjack but have 3 hand for 3 pokemon any hand you win you can choose from(random abilities), any hand lost gets eliminated, ( so you will only be able to choose from the hands you won against the dealer) if no hand wins the dealer chooses the pokemon, if player gets blackjack that hand/pokemon gets any abilities, if dealer gets blackjack win the dealer can punish/drop stats, if draw pokemon stays but only 3 ability sets. over 21 is automatic lose of hand.
I feel like hp would’ve made this vid much less interesting, giving last respect a chance to miss gives us content… but he forgot to place on last respects. Lmao
@@Echiewel yeah he's a physical attacker and his main move being Sacred Fire with 50% chance to burn is a 100 power 95% accuracy move not to mention he gets Brave Bird both being STAB, he could also learn Earthquake for coverage and Roost to be annoying and having Huge Power and then maybe putting a choice band instead of having roost woud've been hilarious.
i really love the unique way of giving abilities like the matching letter and the same type one. it adds a more interesting dynamic to abilities than just randomizing them
As someone who was a Black Jack dealer for 5 years... I had to rewind and listen again because I had the video on the side xD.. Why would the House give the player who lost a chance to keep their money xD
@@Insomniac402 But he already got that advantage since Patterz busted.. The House doesn't get to choose if they play or not.. Since there were no more players to beat the House won
I want us all to appreciate the fact that at the 6:19 minute mark, both Shady and Patterz adjusted themselves in their chairs at the same exact time after Patterz turned over a 19. You can't write this sort of content...
Choosing ability makes the fights themselves less fun (namely for the players) but that's also the part of the video which is conveyed the least to us so..
Still watching but at 8:40 dealer doesnt continue if player bust, player loses .... unsure if this pops up in the future of the video but also dealer cant hit after 17 but they HAVE to hit 16 or under
The year is 2044. Every Shady Penguinn video now has hundreds of prerequisites, rules, and restrictions. The intro explaining the rules is now half the length of the video.
The dealer doesn't have to draw if the player busts and even if the dealer is on 17 or higher doesn't mean they can't draw if not drawing means that they'll lose anyway.
The dealer should always go until they beat the player or bust. There's no point in the dealer staying if they have 17 and the player has 20 for example. So the dealer will draw since they can still win if they get a four.
The boys were missing their Vegas trip, so they brought Vegas to them. They even got an Electrode to reminisce about Dylan’s favourite attraction, the Vegas sphere.
Man these videos get more complicated every time and I'm here for it! Also Keen Eye Kyurem White over Huge Power Ho-Oh? Patterz missing all the Huge Power opportunities this video haha
Great video Shady. I have an idea that I think would be fun for you guys but would be a longer video. You have to take all 3 starters 6 different rounds for 18 total. Then create three teams and play a best of 3. You can decide which Pokémon go to which team. Do you spread them out or power stack them and try to win in 2. As for abilities you can come up with an awesome idea.
If you ever, EVER go gambling with Shady, do NOT let him anywhere near the blackjack tables. As always, love the content, but goodness gracious Shady the rules you were tossing out there for blackjack were throwin me for a loop
The rule that house doesn't draw a card when player busts.. In this case giving patterrz a random mon instead of getting the option to choose it for him... IRL The house should have taken the money and started a new round without even flipping his hidden card. (Former Blackjack Dealer of 5 years here)@@SEAkuaa
This is some weird casino version where Dealer is on autopilot. They have to hit if they are 16 or under and have to stand if they are 17 or higher. I saw it on Google while trying to look up the actual rules of Blackjack, but seems like corporations have completely corrupted what Google thinks Blackjack is. 🤦♀ I'd like to see someone go back in time and tell this version of the game to anyone from the last few centuries hahaha.
@@BlakeFaeMorton Black Jack is more or less solitaire gambling edition, since the Dealer has no choice whether they draw or stand, can literally be done by a robot but having the dealer be human gives more of a personal touch to it.

You should do one where you can only use 2nd stage evolutions max (ex. charmeleon not charizard), gives the mons that are never seen a chance. Only one mon can use eviolite, if it doesn't have an evolution it can be used (ex. Tauros). Would be fun to see!

@AltrTheEgo but they were going off the first letter of the pokemon they picked so the ability would be P because it was Petilil that evolved into hisuian Lilligant

Did Pat actually go against the book in the last round? It seems to me that the odds were definitely in his favor to pick. He had a 9 and 4, which is 13. He needs 8 or under to not go over, and the odds of getting 8 or under is higher then getting 9 or over. And while in some cases not drawing again may have been preferable, shady had a 2 and a mystery card. The chances that the mystery card is 9 or under is higher than the chances of it being 10, so it's more likely that he got a total of 3 to 11 over him getting a 12, which was the highest possibility(technically 13 with an Ace, but that can be reduced depending on the 3rd card). So it's most likely impossible for him to go over 21 with the mandatory 3rd card. BUT, even if he did defy the odds and pull a 10, he would've faced the same odds again, where pulling Ace to 3 would mean a fourth card, 4 to 9 (the most likely scenario) would mean it's the last card but he's safe, and only 10 taking him over. So he definitely wasn't in a position where he was more likely to bust than usual. So yes, Pat ABSOLUTELY should have picked a card, and I don't understand how the book says otherwise.

Anyone else notice that in one round Shady got Applin and Oshawat, and then in a later round got Dipplin and H.Samurott?
