I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries to each other. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. However, you get to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. So say the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries that are physical attackers like Machamp has only special or support moves is completely legal to do. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.

So, I was thinking that they should have a video where we, as the audience, also don't know what they're picking. Just reactions, and us guessing (combined with your idea of just Pokedex entries) until the battle. Then we can see the battle and experience all the excitement of not knowing who/what's coming next.

What about one of these in reverse? You roll random abilities and get 6 movesets/items then go into a randomized game to find the best pokemon for each set.
I’ve got an idea, choose your starter but you can only choose left middle or right up to two times so let’s say you choose left first two rounds and third round you want left, you can’t choose it since you already used up your two left picks and can only pick right or middle

A possible video idea... It relates to the battleship videos, but you have the three randomized starters (which the opponent can't see)... You choose one, and the opponent has 5 yes or no questions to try to guess what pokemon you selected... If guessed correctly, a nerf is added to the selected pokemon... but if incorrect, then the one who picked the pokemon gets a buff (or to spice it up, can replace the pokemon on screen with the opponent's guess)...
For example, you choose breloom... And the opponent asks these five questions...
1. Is it dual type?
Yes
2. First half of the national dex?
Yes
3. Is it a legendary?
No
4. Is it a fire, water, or grass type?
Yes
5. Is it gen 3 or 4?
Yes
Say the opponent thinks you picked swampert... Since incorrect, you could get a buff like any move, ability, or even exchange breloom for the swampert

Here's a cool idea for a video.
Both you and your opponent get 8 abilities to use throughout the randomized starter selection these are the abilities and rules
4 Offensive abilities that will effect your opponents selection
Swap-after your opponent selects a pokemon you can swap it with another pokemon thats in front of you.
Sabotage-the pokemon your opponent chooses can only use 3 skills the 4th one is locked
Butter fingers - no held items allowed for the pokemon your opponent selects
Handicapped-one of the base stats of the pokemon your opponent chooses must be set to 0, it is up to the opponent to choose. (Can not be special or physical attack)
(Bonus) depending on if you choose to play this with hidden starters or allowing your opponent to know what the starters are.
Reveal - does what the name says. Forces your opponent to tell you all the starters truthfully
Hidden - allows you to not have to say the starts in front of you and makes your opponent guess randomly
4 abilities that will benefit your selection
Retrain - allows you to distribute the base stats around as you please, as long as the BST stays the same
Ascend-allows you to use any ability you want on your pokemon you choose.
Type change- allows you to change a single typing of your pokemon you chose
Counter - allows you to nullify a single negative ability your opponent uses when you select your pokemon.
Please if anyone else had cool ideas for abilities add below in the replies and lmk what you think

Roll a wheel or randomizer for a Pokemon movie, then randomly select a pokemon from said movie to build your team

An idea I'd love someone to try:
Generate 7 or 8 random abilities. Then pick from random starters BUT you need to assign as you go. So the last abilities left might not work for the last option.

Challenge idea to add a twist on the 2 truths 1 lie -you don't lie, just tell each other the Pokémon...but in any order, the left Pokémon could be in the middle or right. To make it harder, abilities and move sets are randomised and you can't change the move sets.
You could pick out a legendary with an absolute trash build or find a male combee that could overpower Arceus.
